Oh, my poor game, how harshly you were treated back then, if only we'd have known what was going to follow. The state of almost EVERY Star Wars related content released after Disney bought the franchise is questionable at best.

This is real Star Wars. It looks, feels and plays like Star Wars. It is a bit short, but what is there is just pure fun. No other SW game lets you feel like more of a badass than The Force Unleashed games.

I wish they would have finished the trilogy.

I'll take the OG Starkiller any day of the week over the angry emo boy, the SW Mary Sue and their friends.

30 fps max...
No, no and no...
I had so much fun with this game on PS3 and was so thrilled to find out it was on Steam too!
Reviews were positive and nowhere could we read anything about the fact that this is a console game, not PC.
I had to play it to find out that:
- controls are nothing like I experienced on PS3
- game couldn't go above 30 fps (which is a HUGE deal breaker to me) and can't go above 1920x1080
I can't ask for refund but I wish I could.

Why this game sucks:

1. Quicktime events. A sure-fire way to annoy.

2. On normal difficulty. Can't get past Kazdan Paratus (and I'm not exactly a novice gamer). Consulted online walkthroughs, videos, etc. (which I don't normally do on a first play-through). Doing everything others are saying to do. The only thing I can't do is get Tier 2 Force Lightning. This appears to be the only thing I have done differently. Why allow players to choose a different progression tree if you're just going to lock them into requiring a single solution?

While the game is a decent throwback, it's horribly unstable. I've experienced ~4 full-on crashes, 2 instances where audio just got dropped and didn't come back, and just general unstable frame rates in the ~4 hours I've put into this game on PC (I've played one of the console versions before).

Don't take this as the game is bad, however. It's a competent hack-and-slash platformer complete with all of its 2008 jank, with a decent story and engaging boss fights. But the instability and lack of modern comfort features makes a do-not-recommend for me.
