I tried to like this, I wanted to like this, Complete garbage in the end, Normal mode too easy, hard too hard, huge jump in combat between the two and skip right over the goldielocks zone. Glitchy. Npcs just stand there take damage but do not get hit or fall down or get knocked back, they just keep attacking you anyway. No matter what you do. Camera view is the worst part, its set to look out in front of you, but in these games you are often surrounded and having things attack from behind, but your so close to the screen all you can see is heads and shoulders and everything is constantly off screen. With very little screen follow it also takes a crazy amount of forward movement offscreen before the camera even spins around so you can see. So half the time or more i was attacking the side of the screen unable to actually see my opponent. All in all making combat complete and utter garbage. Tiny quest with zero combat grab 2 items and victory. Wtf lame... This game is horrible.

I love the Dynasty Warriors series.
Just don't ALT+F4 mid-game. It might freeze your game.

it's a good game, less empty than dw9e. you can take quest , raid and join battle as vagabond or free officer. a feature that i missed on dw9e.
