Does this game actually get better or no?
The first few hours of gameplay were pretty fun. I'm currently at the point where I've experienced pretty much all there is to the game. Except for spending money on new characters that add basically nothing to the gameplay loop or support cards, which are minor buffs if ever.

Im just wondering if ill ever get the feeling that i got for the first few hours or if im better just dropping the game to play something more worth my time.

Depends on what you find fun about it. What did you like in the first few hours that you're missing now?

The game has been out for like 3ish months? Has it even been that? There is a ton of stuff coming, there is a bunch of features and content. But if you want to go because the game thats been around for months is too stale, then just go play something else and come back in like 6 months.

I think most of the cool stuff aren't in our version for now. It's very baselined as of now. Stats are so simplified that you mainly want to focus on 2 of them most of the time which kinda makes training boring once you get the hang of it.

Probably not. Just new scenarios, new characters, new cards. The gameplay will probably be still the same. If you don't like the current gameplay, I find it really hard to believe you would like the gameplay a year from now. It's still the same click on training buttons, watch races, pray to RNG for good sparks, rinse and repeat.

If you're a whale you can hyper optimize spreadsheets for pvp. If not whaling, don't even bother with pvp...they'll tell you just get 1200 spd, 1200 stam, 800 pwr, 600 wit with 6 gold skills, good luck doing that with non-max LB cards.

Basically that. If you get bored already and don't engaged in general (stories, characters, GRINDing) then you should drop it. Otherwise it will have some new QoL-features and cute n funny new scenarios.

This game feels like early stages of Blue Achieve in this version. Not as much content as of yet, and generally gameplay revolving around career. I assume they'll expand more events and side game modes later, as currently you just login twice or once a day, and do your daily career runs and other races then call it day.

of course that's the gameplay
if the game isn't fun for you then just leave lmao
Actually yes, there's a lot more content incoming including more career modes - everything that's currently in the Japanese version will eventually come to Global.

Also have you really won the URA finale with all your Umas?
You collected every single trophy currently in the game?

I wouldn't say new Umas add "nothing" to the gameplay loop since they all have unique stories and career paths, and the support card buffs are anything but "minor" - that's literally where you get the bulk of your skills and stats and what determines your overall build!

Try doing a 6-wit card deck and then a 6-power card deck on the same Uma, and come back here and say with a straight face that the differences were only "minor."

If you feel like the career mode will get tiring, I'm not sure how much the game will hook you. Even if you enjoy all the other content, the career mode i'm pretty sure it the main mode of the game.

More scenarios I'm pretty sure get added over time, and we have a guts rework eventually so the stat requirements will change, but it is a career manager game.

My experience with the JP version after a couple of years is that this game can be both grindy and casual. It can be the main game you play or it can be your second or third game you play when there are updates. When I first started, I was really interested in learning the game mechanics and watching my racers get better with each upgrade of my support card deck and legacies. Having to also learn the Japanese UI and terminology was a challenge that I enjoyed. But now I mostly log in to do my dailies and do any events that are going on. On average, I can do most of things I want to do in 30-40 minutes or less. I'm at a point where I can play as much as I want to or as little as I want to.

But it's still a Cygames property and coming from another game we nicknamed "Grindblue Fantasy", the main gameplay is very grindy. So if you aren't someone that enjoys grindy games, it might be a game you just pick up every once in awhile to check out new content and new characters. For me, Global isn't even close to the point where I am on the JP version where I can do everything I want in less than 30 minutes because it doesn't have the QoL features that make the grind less grindy so you can really enjoy the rest of the content. So it doesn't have to be your main game, you can always come back later.

You will rarely ever get the same feeling you get from playing a game for the first time within the same game. For years, I was chasing that feeling I had playing my first MMO ever and I realized you can't recapture that feeling because it only happens once. You can feel something similar but it's just not the same.
