If there was one I think someone would've pointed it out by now or it would be a thing...or if it actually is a thing, its not something anyone thought it was worthy to point out. Probably like Tazuna, the Director going to where she "thinks you should raise" would be erroneous, like most of the advice from the NPCs.

My build was actually strong enough to win the Finales (she was the No.1 favorite throughout the entire career) but she kept placing 2nd and 3rd during the Finale and I eventually ran out of alarm clock attempts :P
Because all the other answers are about how to get her benefits and so are you, he only asked if she appears where you need to train your stats. That's the only thing OP asked for.
Perhaps this intentional? She is the director and based off a legendary horse, so they sim that she knows what she is doing?
I did not win the URA Finals, but I accept full blame for that. My cards were poor and on days she is not available I was lost what to train. It made me sad when her cute face was not an option.
You guys aren't winning the URA Finals, meanwhile those of us who know how to play the game are clearing it easily, and we do't follow the director. We go where the majority of supports are hangingg out to maximize stat gains an Friendship meters, let the Friendships trigger Rainbows and risk and use them, and most importantly we prep our Support Deck ahead of the run because that's what matters the most.
Thinking Aikawa is there to guide you to the optimal training schedule, is like listening to Tazuna.
