Man, I miss the times when updates, while very lengthy in release times, didn't have constant fixes and patches shortly after said updates. (Yes, the purpose Of said fixes and patches are to fix any bugs that were overlooked after said update, but this circumstance is due to such a sped release despite the promise of more patiently developed content for the future.)

I don't think more characters will join the constant
WX identify as They/Them but I guess its not much of a LGB thing but rather more of a "GENDER IS FOR THE WEAK FLESHLINGS" thing

Klei this is the fifth time these two weeks I have to delete everything and redownload the game because my data simply can't synergies with your updates

What gain would be made from this? It's just incorporating drama from reality into a game that has no stance in it. Mods can do that job, not the game's actual devs.

Since this update came out I've been unable to download the new update on to my Macbook and am unable to play the game because of that.

delete the entire game, reboot computer and then redownload the game. If it still doesn't work, delete the two leftover data sever apps by searching don't starve together (in your set language) on finder after deleting the entire game again. Reboot and redownload again
