Huh, I don't believe I've heard about that bug before. I wonder what could be causing it... do you have multiple monitor setup? If so, do you run the game by using your primary monitor?
One potential solution could be changing your resolution to 1280x720 and using "Fullscreen" option in the game.
Oh, do you play by using laptop, or do you perhaps have a gaming mouse with some drivers?
Thank you for your patience, hopefully this will get solved soon so you can enjoy the game! :)
I was streaming from my desktop to my TV using Steam Link, while the game filled my TV screen, it turns out to have been showing up as a smaller box in the middle of my computer monitor (I guess it was running at 1280x720 after all). So when I clicked somewhere on my TV display, the mouse was actually pointing somewhere else on my computer monitor, usually in the black space outside the game window. Going to Fullscreen as you suggested expanded the game to fill my computer monitor, so now it and my TV are in agreement about where my mouse cursor is in relation to the game.
Very interesting. I had assumed Steam Link mirrored my PC display directly, but apparently that's not actually the case. Anyway, thanks for helping to point me in the right direction!
A big thanks for reporting back, this might be a very useful info for some! :)
