Black Screen on Startup
Every time I start the game, all I get is a black screen and a red cursor. I tried making the .exe run on compatibility mode and with administrative privileges, but neither work.

Never mind. I found out what the issues was. It turns out my PC's (Windows 7) color depth setting was too low.

I went to change it under Control Panel\Appearance and Personalization\Display\Screen Resolution, then Advanced Settings. I clicked the List All Modes button and selected '1920 by 1080, True Color (32 bit), 59 Hertz.'

Somehow, it was on a 16 bit setting. I'm not sure how it came to that but the game is working now.
