I am very happy with the EEs. Mostly because they run natively on linux. So no more fiddling with wine until everything works, yeah.

you are missing the point, i would kill to play a proper port of nwn or bg1+2 or torment or icewind dale. but because beamdogs throws cheap, soulless moneygrab reboots on the market this will not happen.
