the engine they had used was simply lacking. Now if they ever want to return to the game they need to use a new engine. Which would simply mean a new game.

Im sure when they run out of money they grabbed from the first game, theyll be back (under a different name perhaps?)

Money shouldn't be the only motivation for the crew. Afterwards, it would be enough to turn it into a P2W MMO with a cash shop and skins to find the budget.
