Game won't start on Windows 11

Is there any way to play this on Windows 11?
Trying to start it through the Steam client does nothing, and attempting to run the LifeIsStrange.exe directly from the folder spits out an error saying "The Application Was Unable To Start Correctly (0xc000007b)".
I'd rather not be forced to buy the remastered version of the game that adds nothing just to be able to play this again.

You might want to install vcredists (2005, 2008 and 2012), both x86 and x64 located at:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Steamworks Shared\_CommonRedist\vcredist

If that doesn't solve the problem, then open command line with administrator rights and type:

sfc /scannow

Already tried that, but no luck.
