Drag your mouse to "look" and then release the left click

Hold down M1, then drag the cursor over to look. Then once you have selected look, let go of M1.

It also confused me the first time I played the game.

mouse is on look ad it is doing nothing. If I got mouse cklicked I can't move it anywere besides this circle "lool"

The left mouse button generally unless you have the mouse functions flipped due to being left handed. That always makes it fun when you remote to a PC with that enabled.

Do I need a USB mouse for this? I can go plug it in, but using the one built into my laptop, I too get stuck in this endless loop of doing exactly what it says, but it doesn't do a thing. Absolutely maddening.

Okay, just tried with a USB mouse and no different. The exacts of what happens is that you click and drag towards the photo, but it lets your cursor make it exactly halfway down the guideline towards the photo but won't let you get any closer to it to reach it to look at it, and I feel like therein lies whatever is the problem here. How does one work around this?

You don't drag the cursor at the photo itself. You hold down the mouse button while you drag it to the "look" option. Thats all. No idea why so hard.

Left mouse button: hold, drag, then release!

Any mouse will do. Does not matter.

The problem is THERE IS NO COURSOR before I click left mouse button. When I click it it's ALREADY on the look area and NOTHING HAPPENS.

There isn't exactly a cursor in the conventional sense in the game, asides from the mouse icon if you wanna call that a cursor.

ok its the same for me when i drag like you say it stops the curser half way to the photo but as we say nuthing happens thats click hold drag let go

is the curser ment to stop over the photo for it to show when you let go if so it dont work

You don't drag to the OBJECT, instead you drag to the ACTION you want Max to preform, and in this case the ACTION is to LOOK at the photo. So click and drag to the WORD.... LOOK...simple as that.

And it works that way for every object in the game that you want Max to interact with.

doesnt work for me either and the fu-ck heads here who dont understand need to dilate some more
