Hello there pawns!

This week just a small note to keep you guys updated on what we are working on right now.

First of all, Alfred next update is scheduled to release next week on Friday!

As requested, you will soon be able to open public lobbys, allowing unknow players to join you if they whishes. Rest assured, you will still be able to create private lobbys to play only with people that you know.
We apologize for not bringing this feature sooner, but we had some technical difficulties and decided to launch without it.
This feature is still being tested as we speak and will normally be released with the next week update.

Also, it came to our attention that players with screen resolutions above 1920x1080 experienced problems. We currently working on it and some fixes will be provided in the next week update. Comming with thoses fixes, the settings menu will allow you to chose smaller resolution in "Windowed" mode (At first only 1920x1080 & 1280x720 will be available). Please continue to keep us updated if you are facing any issues.

We have a few more things comming in the next week update, and we can't wait to tell you more about it next week!

Hello there pawns!

The first major update is here thanks to all the feedback we've received the last two weeks. Thank you!

First of all, many of you have asked us to introduce matchmaking. We've heard your request and will be working on it over the coming months.

Here are the actual changes in this update:

Additions:

• Added a brand new counter for Marc.
  
• Added Sport and Deap Sea skin packs to the shop.
  
• Added a window thanking you for buying the ALFRED is a BAD GUY Founder pack.
  
• Added an option in game customisation to choose a random map from the available maps.
  
• Added the ability to hide the game code when entering it.
  
• Added Boss death sounds.
  
• Added the Alfred is a Bad Guy logo to the main menu.
  
• Added music when the good guys win.
  
• Added a button to join our wonderful Discord.
  
• Added audio fades for better music transitions.
  
• Added particle effects for dice on different surfaces.
  
• Added two new animations when the Boss wins the fight.
  
• Added a pause button in the lobby to access rules and options.
  
• Added animations to player pawns during Boss animations.

Modifications & balancing:

• The board view camera now automatically deactivates when a fight involving you is triggered, or at the start of your turn.
  
• Players eliminated at the meeting are now greyed out in the player list.
  
• Dice now float in water!
  
• Changed Marc's feedback when he marks someone to better match the number of marks he applies.
  
• Following several playtests, we've decided to slightly increase the power of Lieutenants. They roll one more 4-sided dice than before. They go from rolling 5 dice to 6.

Bug fixes:

• Lieutenants and minions can now roll ‘1’ on their respective dice (Sorry)
  
• Fixed an issue with the Localization settings that would cause de language to revert back to french when comming back to the main menu.
  
• Fixed an issue when the Reaper attempts to eliminate Urgle but gets eliminated at the Meeting before her power activates.
  
• Fixed an issue where the Puppeteer attempts to control a player, but that same player is eliminated at Meeting before his power activates.
  
• Fixed an issue where when the Puppeteer was controlling another bad guy player in a fight, the Puppeteer would not always get his window back to roll his dice.
  
• Fixed an issue in game settings. When the number of bad guys in a game was reset to ‘AUTO’ after playing a game with custom options, the custom options would take precedence.
  
• Fixed a conflict between using a D'g-up and killing a lieutenant, under specific conditions.
  
• Fixed spelling errors in rules and pop-ups. Dyslexic game designer ... ;)
  
• Fixed various issues with boss aggro zones on different maps where the right music was not playing at the right time.
  
• Fixed an issue with Marc and the minion tile that allowed him to mark the same pawn multiple times.
  
• Fixed an issue with Marc which could mark other pawns in the air during earthquakes.
  
• Fixed an issue with the scythe move where you could use your items just before dying.
  
• Fixed an issue on the victory screen that would trigger the defeat scene when the game was won.
  
• Fixed an issue when the Puppeteer would trigger an earthquake with his target.
  
• Fixed a conflict between the Reaper and the Puppeteer when targeting the same person.
  
• Fixed inventory dice amounts, which were not always correct.
  
• Fixed an issue where the Puppeteer's target UI was not updating properly.
  
• Sometimes boss battle zone music would play at the start of the game instead of the default map music.
  
• Fixed an issue where lieutenant and boss cameras would not return to their original zoom values.

Known issues:

• Player disconnects prevent fights from launching.
  
• Returning to the main menu from the victory screen changes the music for the player still on the victory screen.
  
• When a player is controlled by the Puppeteer and the Puppeteer presses the ‘Max’ button, the player's HUD will not update correctly.
  
• The cameras connected to the Puppeteer do not always follow the controlled player correctly.
  
• The hand feedback of the Puppeteer does not always follow the controlled player correctly.
  
• When the Puppeteer sends a player to fight a Lieutenant, the Puppeteer does not see the players score at the end of the fight.
