After restarting the game, the visual aspect of having done a level is gone. For example, I finished some hard levels, getting the iceberg on top which is gone after restart. (Playing on the Deck)

Hi I just played the demo for this, and liked it a lot :-) BUT - I'm an old lady with dexterity issues, and the click-and-hold-mousebutton in the demo for placing the pieces, hurts my hands. Is there a click-to-select & click-to-place alternative in the main game itself? Or is this click-and-hold the only way to select a piece and place it down? (I noticed that I can use touchscreen too, which is an alternative that would work for me, I guess, but I prefer mouse or kb)...
