How to get a server set up?

A friend and I are planning to play this game but since servers are down, what's the best way to get a server? Do I use the Dedicated Server exe? If so, how do I get it set up?

Idk really, but you can play a LAN game via a VPN service like ZeroTier (or Hamachi)

Set up a Hamachi server and get your friend to join it
You start a match under the "Internet" tab in game
Start the match and wait at "Press any key to start"
get your friend to open console "~" and type "/connect {IP}" where "{IP}" is your hamachi IP in it's main UI
Only press a key to get the match started after your friend already has (in that 5 sec window), else you will be stuck as a spectator (the game will display the countdown so you can't miss it)
