Grim Fandango is such a fantastic game! The blend of film noir and Mexican culture is just brilliant. You step into the shoes of Manny Calavera, a charming travel agent in the Land of the Dead, and the whole experience is filled with clever puzzles and quirky characters. The humor is spot-on, and the art style is truly unique. Plus, the soundtrack is just perfect. If you haven't played it yet, you’re definitely missing out on a classic that still holds up today!

Playing "Grim Fandango" was a mixed experience for me. The game is really creative, with a cool mix of film noir and Mexican culture. Manny is very charming and fun, and the rest of the ensemble full of unique and witty characters.However, I found the gameplay to be pretty clunky. Navigating the world was often frustrating, and some puzzles felt more annoying than clever. The game asks you to think OUTSIDE of outside of the box, which can be interesting but also really tough at times. There aren’t very many hints, and with such a vast world, it’s incredibly difficult to know that the fire extinguisher from the garage in the main city is supposed to be used in the river with the lava beavers in tandem with throwing.
I also had an issue with the game crashing 10+ times, which doesn’t happen with any of my other games via Steam. I found myself losing motivation to play it because of that.

Overall, "Grim Fandango" has a lot of charm and a unique story, but its awkward mechanics can make it a challenge to enjoy fully. If you're willing to put up with the frustrations, there’s a great adventure in there, it just wasn’t an adventure for me.

I got Grim Fandango Remastered for free, otherwise I would never have bought it. Still, it seemed like fun so I gave it a go... Now I know I'm bad at puzzles, but this game sucks. How the heck are you supposed to figure out any of these puzzles? "Fill up TWO balloons full of foam and shove them down a pipe, and then lock an open door before walking out of a room." WHAT?! It's easier to bash your head against a wall and hope you don't miss something. Sorry to everyone looking at this game through rose-tinted glasses, but it just doesn't hold up today. Go play a different point-and-click adventure game.

Still, I will give it one thing. The story and characters were great. Might as well look up a walkthrough instead and support the devs later. But also, one of the achievements had me beat the entire game with tank controls. What the actual-
