Guide to SpaceEngine Settings
I have written a guide which explains all of SpaceEngine's graphics settings. I hope to eventually expand this into a full user manual for SE, but that will be a very long-term project. For now, it will at least explain the graphics options. You can check it out below:

Update: A WIP guide to visual style settings is now available here:

You are probably in flight simulator mode, not planetarium mode.

From the main menu, every time you launch the program, you can choose whether to use flight simulator or planetarium.

I have a 4K TV, but at that resolution, all letters, and generally the UI, is so small, that is unreadable and makes Space Engine, unplayable. I tried to find a UI setting in the options menu, but i couldn't find anything. Am i missing something?

There are no UI scaling options at present. This is planned for a future update.

Ok, but since Space Engine is quite old and it was being updated for years, this should've been one of the first most important updates, because 4K gaming is mainstream now, so lots of players are playing at that resolution. Just saying. I'll wait, i won't play again, so i won't go past the 2 hour mark for possible refund, just in case it's not fixed.

Keep in mind that you also must not own the game for more than 2 weeks if you want a refund, and since this is not likely to change by then, you should probably just get a refund now and buy it again in the future after this is updated.

Similarly, I have a 4K gaming laptop with native 3140x2860 resolution at 250% scaling, and I cannot seem to find a resolution and scaling that allows me to really use the program. I have owned the program for a while and keep checking back because it seems awesome. Do you hae any time frame at all for when you will add scaling into the program so I and others can finally use it? Please do make it a priority, as I think you're only going to have more an more folks with these resolutions purchasing your program.

I noted in a search that a post from June 2019, a year and a half ago now, also said that 4K and scaling support was "planned for the future". Is there a roadmap, or is this just a "we'll get to it eventually...when we feel like it" kind of statement? Just poking a little since I hope to be able to really use the program in the hopefully near future.
