We're back, with an exciting new update!

What's new:

A new slime. One might say this one is pretty familiar...
Several new structures and items related to mining!
A special endgame mechanic for obtaining resources, unlocked by completing several quests

Improvements:

A slight adjustment to the RNG when generating shop.
Changes to how energy-generating structures work. Steam Generator now only consumes the appropriate amount of water based on your energy capacity, rather than all of them.

What's new in v1.4.0:

🤖 New content:

6 new slimes to discover
A new structure to help you shape your world

⚡ Changes:

Dungeons can no longer be overridden by the Forces of Nature slimes
Wool Scarf can now be crafted
You can now enable/disable which recipes a machine can handle (only for the 7 machines, also note that the machines will still consume energy even if no recipe is enabled)
Island inspector UI has been changed for better visibility

🔧 Bug Fixes:

Background music now plays properly
Fixed some translation errors
Recipes with a specified success chance (like Floral Essence) now display it properly in the archive
Fixed stamina reset when continue playing existing game

Hello keepers! Hope you had a wonderful time celebrating New Year's Eve.

This time, we bring you a new update to Ooze Keeper—Update v1.3.0: The Forces of Nature. Get your hands on some new slimes with the abilities to terraform the world!

New content

5 new slimes, several new structures and items to expand on the magical side 🪄
A new biome to boost the production of your farm 🌱
There's now Harsh Sunlight weather ☀️

Tweaks

Elixirs of Harvest receive a nerf, now requiring an additional new rare ingredient ⚗️
Ritual Site now spawns 100% of the time but spawns further away from the origin island. Darkness Slime can be used to help you locate the Ritual Site. The glitchy visual effect of the Ritual Site is now only visible when inspecting that specific island ⛤

Improvements

There's now an option in the settings menu that lets you change UI scale.
The game simulation process can now run in the background. Note that the application will only run in the background when simulation slimes/structures.

Bug fixes

Fix free rerolls and reroll cost reset when loading.
Fix unintentional behavior of grass spreading to non-arable islands.
Fix some inconsistency in some localization strings.

Developer notes

This update is somewhat light on new content, and that's because most of the development is focused on optimization of the behaviors of slimes and structures. It's not perfect in anyway. Therefore, your feedback and suggestions are really appreciated. The best way to reach out is joining our Discord server.

There's now a setting option to switch between full screen and windowed mode

Bug Fixes

Upgraded the simulation system for slimes/structures that contain other slimes/structures for more consistent behaviors
Rabbit Slimes burrowing no longer spawn Ghost Slimes when Phantom Conversion is active

🧬 5 new slimes to discover
🪴 New structures and items to complement the newly included slimes, including a new crop to synergize with Farm Animal Slimes

🚀 Improvements

🖥️ UI improvements, including hotkeys for easy access
🐄 Slight change to the Barn's breeding mechanic. 1 fence should be enough
🪙 Reduce island unlocking price
🌵 Cactus is now affected by Dryad Slime
📦 Slimes/Structures that handle recipes have their batch size increased to infinity. Note that this means no more even distribution of items

🔧 Bug Fixes

📈 Correct some slimes' production bonus stat
💤 Fix Caffeine/Engineer Slime not working correctly
🌽 Corrupted Animal Slimes now require the correct food item to breed using the Barn
🌳 Fix localization issue with the Ore Tree

A timeline bar with markers indicating upcoming shops.
Updated descriptions to recipe handler structures and slimes to be clearer.

Fixed Nature, Potato, Quarry and Crystal Slimes not consuming required resources even when available.
Fixed Butcher Slime locked from attempting to kill a breeding slime.
Fixed the calculation of islands position relativity.
Fixed camera navigation using WASD not working.

✨ Demo Update v0.4: Quality of Life Updates ✨

This week, I bring you v0.4.0-demo! Here's what new:

✨ Content
Added the new Cactus Slime family. Cactus farming, anyone?

👌 QoL Features
Slime and Structure dashboard, showing what they are attempting to do each day. This takes into account all stat changes and conditions, so you don't have to.

A action log keeping track of each slime/structure behavior from the last day to help with troubleshooting.

Keyboard supported camera movement and structure placement

🔧 Bug Fixes
Fix some localization error
Fix Chef Slime and Alpha Werewolf Slime infinite loop
Fix Barn not breeding in certain conditions
