No, the Milestone markers, some of them yes are hidden in secret areas, but they aren't classed as a secret, they are listed in your explorer journal as Milestones.
They have also changed lots of them from the early builds, there were originally 8, now in the latest builds there are 12. Other changes have been made as well since, early releases.

In case you haven´t found it yet;

The milestone 10/12 is located in a secret cave where the Milestone 5/12 can be found at its entrance.

I even saw a screenshot that must have been from an earlier build of one, that isn't in my game.

Ahh it that what it is, I have seen several play throughs looking for it and noticed, numbering different and other things seemed different

If that's the case I am wrong, but yeah I did notice the number of things has changed, and possible some tittle changes, but yeah number of secrets and all that I see no difference, probably just the Milestone numbering throwing me off.


EDIT; Big thanks guys, I found it. I was looking for where those statues were as I knew them from where I found them previously. I rushed in and got horribly lost, always double backing on myself and then just stumbled across it. Thanks again for the help.
