Well, pretty sure some would. For me as a mapmaker, the editor was sufficient.
I don't have a good feeling about modding the files myself, but actually use one mod from nexus to alter the timescale, which ofc could be done with a single dev.command.
More could be risky and begone with every minor update, so i at least wait until full release before modding the files by hand...
But i'm sure there will be others who gladly accept your offer.
