So if you're like me and loaded up this gem and couldn't get the resolution to fit but windowed mode only showed you the top left of the screen, this might help.

My problem was that when it went to load up full screen it was way out of the resolution range of my monitor, aka, getting a black screen - not uncommon for me since I know my monitor is old. Windowed mode didn't help because all I saw was the top left of the screen but I could interact with the game.

My lazy fix:

- If you can see the corner of the screen and have the menu to start a new game, hit enter.

- If you can see the letters that you can put in, work your way through to what I imagine is the bottom right after putting in a letter or so, and find confirm, I can't recall how many times I tried this but the idea is that you create your profile-name and get to the main menu.

-Finally, the important bits: You should be able to see 'New Game' highlighted, from there hit the down arrow key twice and hit Enter, you'll have 'Options' slide up. Next you hit the down arrow once and hit enter, you'll have selected the 'Visuals' option, there is a sound cue. After that just hit left or right and you'll see the resolution change.

That's what worked for me, I know there are videos out there for hex editors and like three other threads of people just saying "hit alt + Enter" but that didn't work for me. Stumbling in the dark did so I'm just trying to help out the next person like me that tries the same.
