Im running on a Windows 10 with way of the samurai and found out after a couple of years that when i open the option on the main menu it stays on black screen along with new game and load game, i tried adjusting the ini. on the install folder to match or lower my resolution but to no solution

so i remembered back then my Way of the samurai 3 and 4 are installed on my HDD not on my SSD so i re-installed it back on my HDD and now it works

so for those who still have HDD, install it there instead and it will work

Edit: you can also run using your native high resolution , just adjust the settings, im running mine on 1440p resolution
