At the risk of being a buzzkill, I'm worried that one year since the initial announcement isn't nearly long enough to make an expansion that lives up to the standards set by the base game and Downpour, both of which were in development for approximately half a decade. Don't get me wrong, I'm hyped to play this sooner rather than later, but are there really enough people working on it to accelerate the development timeline that much? Or were they working on it for a long time before the announcement? I know they're adapting preexisting mods, which probably helps ease the schedule somewhat, but, if my memory serves me, they've also said they're creating brand-new content, which can't be a breeze, especially new creatures. Plus, a couple things seem off about this trailer, like the graffiti unrealistically wrapping over those neat orb dudes in the background at 0:55, inconsistencies between Stormy Coast's world state between this trailer and previous ones, and the live-action footage, which is a departure from the style of all other Rain World trailers. I dunno. I worry that this will be another instance of a publisher rushing the release date of their developers' product without heed for how long that product actually takes to finish. :/
