Overall this is a fun AC game, there are no repetitive missions.

Ah, the good ole days.
It had been quite a while since I played an Assassin's Creed game, especially to completion. My last foray - and what I still found the best - was AC Unity which came out right around the same time as this as the 'new gen' Creed.
Nothing has matched it since. They went for broke with Unity, it's so underrated. The CROWD tech is insane and never replicated. Don't know what it is but they were afraid to fill streets and cities with that many people again, not in Origins, Odyssey or Valhalla did they even get closed to how incredibly packed and dense Unity felt.

But anyway, this isn't France, this is (sigh) the new American frontier (...again).

I liked the elements of Black Flag remnants. The ship, the battles, and honestly because I gave Ubisoft games a break, I didn't mind the absolute map bloat full of collectables.

+ Decent story with a unique angle for once in explaining Templars aren't just all Sith / Imperail evil
+ Great ship combat and water physics
- Not enough city, too many wilderness / empty land spaces. Parkour should be king!
- The out of Animus stuff is still awful since they ended Desmond's story. So directionless. They kind of tie it in with early games but your character is literally called an idiot the entire way through then told to join or die. Lol.

Overall, one of the last "decent" Creed games before they started to get all 'pretend-RPG' with it and add level-gates etc.

This game is bad optimized for PC. It's buggy and recently, it's crashing. But I gave it a good review for the fact that the story is kinda ok. I especially love playing as a templar and the fact that is different to the other Assassin's Creed games, makes it special!

Nice game! It feels very much like a combination of Assassin's Creed games III and IV.

This game is like the little Brother of AC IV Black flag same naval combat system almost same tools and the storys is fabulous the fact that you can play as a Templar gives you a new view from the entire franchise
