Assassin's Creed Rogue

Game don't start
Hi folks, since I bought this in 2016 it has not been working. I even assembled a new computer in 2023 and even now it just won't start. I have found absolutely nothing useful on the internet regarding this problem. Do you have any ideas what the problem could be?

Same here. Steam opens Ubisoft Connect and Ubisoft Connect is trying to start the game with Steam. Seems like a Ping Pong wich leads to nothing.

Hey guys !
Managed to find the solution : you need to turn HDR OFF on windows settings. After that game can launch.
Enjoy the game !

Aw... It worked on both of my PCs where game was not starting :(
Who the hell are you calling "Folk" here kid??
Simply turning off HDR does NOT work for those with windows 10 WITHOUT an extra setting called "autoHDR" which will ignore "HDR off" entirely and activate it automatically. Windows 10 latest versions do not have an autoHDR toggle.

Reading comprehension required. :steamfacepalm: Such a common blundering mess these days... and I'm not even an English native speaker, but a Portuguese one. :baa:

At least you already know to don't hold your breath. Both my 2 latest Assassin's Creed: Origins (AC:O) Ubi$hit's Support[www.ubisoft.com] cases are a clear proof for their careless customer handling. :cozycastondeath:

I had one closed because they took a simple month before replying and therefore in the mid I've repeated all the Trials of the Gods enough times to replace the item that hadn't appeared in my 1st go at it. And I even had to post that in there and they've closed it without even posting a reply.

And the other is having unlocked some golden items (aka Legendary) twice through Heka Chests, being it the Courage and Justive Dual Swords, but can't sell those upon a Merchant simply because I already had that one offered to me by a friend (as gift's exchange from me presenting it a former CreatiVerse's pack). :creatigoo:
And that's a simple fixing blunder up from their behalf when having those items not properly sorted out through the game's databases to allow selling because I've just did the same with my Heka Chest version of the Tempest Blade and had it upon my acquired gear through their in-game's "Store". :winter2019tiredbulb:

Rather than turning HDR on and off every time you want to launch one game you can do this:

Go to your game installation folder and locate the acc.exe file
Right click it and click 'Properties'
Click the 'Compatibility' tab
At this point I usually click 'Change settings for all users' but this may be unnecessary, I just prefer to do it that way.
Tick the box that says 'Disable Full-screen optimisations'
Click Apply/OK

Hopefully your game should launch now without having to disable HDR each time.
