I'm trying to reinstall AC: Rogue as I type because I really want to see if its the rather usual U( )bi Con[ubisoftconnect.com]'s crappy quality updates/patches (that quite oftenly turn into flat out clear game experience downgrades instead) , although atm I'm already forced to resign that game's "EULA" when I've played it before into having a 100% shynchronization save, so... (atm) I'm already expecting the worst. :steamfacecpalm:

Having the same issue. I've been playing the game over the past few weeks. Already activated the CD key. Now it's asking for the CD Key again and there is no option to select it in the Manage dropdown list.

Same here, wanted to play rogue, but it asks for activation again, and the key is nowhere to be find in steam...

same here. I was playing Rogue this morning, now it asks for Activation Code. No option to find that in steam.

After today's update, it asks for the activation code. ♥♥♥♥ it. Where is the activation code anyway. When I started the game, it asked for it, but I don't even know where to look for it now. I can not find it. I hope they fix this bug because it's a big blunder. It's a nuisance to me.

Usually right click select the said game upon your Steam's "Library" and it'll present you with a "Manage" option and it should be inside those (called "CD-Key" or something similar to product activation key).

I just checked, there's no "CD-Key" option there.

After today, I've the same problem. No there any CD-key in a Manage option

Well, my Ubi$oft's acquired AC: Rogue finished installing and worked flawlessly. Although it could also probably be tied to the fact that I've already had activated it all those years back.

well, im glad im not the only one having this problem, i just bought the game an hour ago for a nostalgia trip and its the same error as everyone, ubi's cd key

I played this game this morning and everything was fine. This afternoon I experienced the same issue as Admiral Wolf. The connection is asking for a CD code that I do not have.

Im having the same problem. Just bought the game, it shows in my ubisoft account, so I know they're connected, but the damn thing won't launch without the key (they I don't have). It's not available in my games list, (other games that have keys shows the option, but not this one).

This is crap.

Same problem here - I was playing just fine yesterday. I did install today's patch and after that, it wants a CD key. I think the patch broke something.

The patch definitely screwed up the Game Launch. I was literally playing the game today and restarted it to find that steam was patching Rogue. I was like hmmm interesting.

After it patched, launched game, and voila the Ubisoft Cancer. I can't find the CD key on steam or on Uplay

I think everyone is having the same issue, hope they fix this soon, very annoying :/
