How to check your current Video card/chip and Driver.

To check your current Video card/chip and driver, you can use a little utility called GPU-Z. It can also monitor voltages, temprature, memory usage, etc.

It can be download from here:
http://www.techpowerup.com/gpuz/

You can also check your current hardware by going into Control Panel>Display>Adjust resolution> Advanced settings

While this works, I still recommend to use GPU-Z because it also reports your current Driver.

Drivers download web-pages

Here are the web-pages of each of the Video cards/chips manufacturers, where you can download the latest drivers.

NVIDIA[www.geforce.com]
ATI/AMD[support.amd.com]
Intel[downloadcenter.intel.com]

________________________________________________________________________

Please, note that, just because your card/chip supports DirectX 11 API, it doesn't mean that the game will run at a playable speed. It all depends on the memory speed/size and GPU speed, so, please, refer to the game's Steam Store page, to check the "System requirements". Link to the Store Page
If still in doubt, post your video card/chip model and we can help you.

DISCLAIMER:

THIS LIST IS OBVIOUSLY OUTDATED.
MANY NEW GRAPHICS CARDS HAS BEEN RELEASED SINCE THE GAME LAUNCHED. IF YOURS IS NOT ON THE LIST, THAT DOESN'T MEAN IT CAN'T RUN IT.

Why is there no +Rep button here on Steam? You'd have won all of Steam (and possibly the internet) with this post!

At the risk of sounding terse, this kind of information in regards to your systems capabilities, card type, motherboard, cpu, etc, is shown on the system information of windows.

Still, It's a solid effort.

Not terse at all.
I should have posted how to check the current video card and driver.
I will edit the OP.

Ok, just making sure!

Aside from that, maybe include how to check video card type/model and software version from the card manufacturer's sites as well? In regards to the cards configuration utility.

Hopefully, this cuts down on people wondering why their game isn't running, or they are getting certain errors. I've been trying to help here and there myself on the forums, but it gets a tad daunting when you are only one person trying to sort through and help the people with actual legitimate issues and basic troubleshooting. :P
