What kind of game updates will players expect in the foreseeable future for Naval Action?

What kind of content updates can we expect in the future, its good to have some in game mechanic changes of course but new content is what keeps an MMO alive.

Dear devs I would like to take this opportunity to ask when or if the Diana and Cecilia will be added to the regular game without events. Part 2 are you happy with the frigate game revolving around Endymion and Trincomolee?

We plan to continue focusing on the combat and sailing model to improve balance and ship usability, in terms of new features we are considering several options including improving progression of crew and making RVR matter more in terms of individual progression. Another area we will be looking at is creating alternative roads for crafters to build best ships that would be parallel to clan port investments allowing individual solo players to level up their crafting skill to build better ships.

We will be adding several DLC ships in the future, but the world situation is making it hard to provide specific dates on the delivery. The next ship will most likely be a 2nd rate and combat trader (Rotterdam), but we currently don't know when they will be added to the game.

We will continue using those ships as event ships. In terms of Endymion and Trincomalee - we are looking at the balance, as we don’t want the only option to be Endymion. Having said that Endymion was one of the best frigate designs of the age of sail and it would be a shame to make it just an average frigate.

We do not plan to add ship naming in Naval Action in the near future. Such a feature requires a special name policy, and inappropriate names will cause issues in the community.

Is there a way to change the required 6 person battle group for instant join to any number smaller? I normally only play with one or two other people.

That would be great to see some love for Captains who dedicate themselves to building ships. I used to really like the way crafters would gain some XP from battles the ships they crafted earned.

Thanks for the answers Ink. :) Although shame about the naming. Would be nice if some of the ships missing the names on the stern could at least get the name of the Ship Added. (The victory springs to mind here).

Hi Ink,

How does Armour and penetration work in game? If I have 150 armour and am shot at by a cannon with 200 Pen at that given range, does only 50 of that get through with the other blocked? Or does it just completely ignore the armour at that point?

Will the AdR ever be craftable as it was promissed?
Is how long is the delay for the Rotterdam going ot be? Is it going to be craftable, DLC or special event ship?

Back when we had Masater Craft level you reached 50 and felt like you where doing something special and earned. Now crafting is just a click of a button. With all the woods and DLC one thing they could do to make crafting special compared to DLC's is allow max level crafters (level 7) to pick the perk....Sturdy, Fast, Agile, Cramped....etc. Just make the very part of getting a better option a dice roll. That way a crafter can make a more specialliezed ship while the DLC/Note redeemer is getting something random off the shelf.

That and open up the other NPC refits to regions so there is a reason other than ship bonus to crafdt in certain regions.?

How can you as a beginner finish the tutorial if it is not feasible? Destroying the sail alone is not possible because the cannons are not accurate. Something like that is not beginner friendly
