When i first bought this game way back when, the NPC's would strike the white flag if they had a significant pounding, Not always but often enough, Now why and when was this removed, as i doubt in real life, apart from pirates, most captains would rather surrender for a chance of survival instead of still firing guns when water pours in the gunwhales.

For instance, i completely demasted a ship, Surrender would surley be the option of the ship captain rather than just sitting there and takeing broadside after boradside untill sunk.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, Devs, consider bring in the CHANCE at least of an NPC surrendering, especially with the current cost of balls and powder!!!
