Same for me. Try the battle lounge. There are usually a few rooms and people take turns to fight each other.

It's 3 AM EST and I'm able to find ranked matches within 2-6 minutes. I see that we're friends on steam. Let me know if you would like to play sometime

depends on your location and time. I have no issues finding matches in Europe all day until around 2 in the morning

Also European but I have less luck. Can only find matches in the evenings, and then it's usually the same 3-4 people on my level. I do have the 4-5 bar connection filter on tho.

The first few matches will take forever till the game decided you are a trusted player who does not quit matches.
Also no one plays Causal matches anymore most people who still play the game do so in Ranked or custom rooms.
Its also likely most players are not in Bronze anymore.
