Oh thank god! I been hearing conflicting claims that capcom was banning people for modding their games. But I guess it was either people who were making profits with mods or it was fake.

Capcom sends copyright strikes to youtubers showing mods for monster hunter series.
also capcom literally said that modding is no different from cheating and it can cause bad publicity and reputational damage (nude chun li incident during a tournament). Enigma DRM is their first attempt to cripple modding.
