Can you give us details on the specs machine you're using? This was not an issue we hit in QA and the game's looking ok for me now!

The game save location is C:\Users\[username]\AppData\LocalLow\MediaTonic\HatofulBoyfriend

There should be screenshots within associated with your save data!

Well, I'm running on an Asus G75VW notebook. Performance isn't an issue, but could it have anything to do with me running Steam from my D partition which does not have Windows on it? Would that conflict with stuff? Failing to find specified paths and whatnot?

Also, another prob... Just booted game back up...

load game> game starts> fade in> and now my game is broken.

Can't hit escape to load or save, and no text is appearing, and I can't skip or advance.

Do you know where the save was in terms of the main arc of the game? Preferably the date if you have it!

This might be down to running Steam from the partition. If you can find the files where I said before for the problem save, we can investigate directly.

I believe the save was only on thesecond day of class. Yeah, I'm literally only that far in. I haven't made any choices yet to branch off. Also, added you.

I'm actually having the same problems with the save thumbnails. If I actually check in the folder, the screenshots are there, but in game all I get is the low res question marks. I'm also running the game and steam on a seperate partition from where windows is installed. Everything else runs really smooth. I've got Windows 7, with an AMD Phenom II Processor.

So it seems like the save file's pointing at the right thing. Just can't display it for whatever reason.

Hi, just want to add that I am having the exact same issues as above. Saved at the start of the second day. Icon for my save is a question mark, and the game freezes upon loading. Running Steam on a partition.

It sounds like the running thread through all of this is running Steam from a different partition...

Is everyone in this thread able to check the game save location:

And confirm if this is populating with saves? I'm going to talk with the coder who wrote the save/load system and see if I can obtain some of the save files from Tofuko Senpai.

Yep, all the saves I make show up right there along with their associated screenshots and flag data.

Yeah, all my saves are in that folder, with the screenshots. Saves load fine in game, just not the screenshots.

I sent my save file to Scamp. Yeah, only had one saved game and didn't start another out of the fear of losing data once I quit again.

Well, I did try to email the files, but the email I was provided with warranted a returned message, and my last conversation with him isn't there now. Might have been my fault?

Same issue. Windows+Steam are on my C: drive, but the game is installed on my F: drive. No screenshots on saves, and some saves will freeze the game on load. It's consistent whether an individual save will freeze the game when I try to load it. The save folder in C:\Users... looks to be properly populating with save files.
