In response to strong player feedback, we’ve made adjustments to NPC behavior in Version 1.1.2!

Update Details

New Features

New NPC Behavior Types Added!

　You can now choose an NPC behavior type at game start or during play.

　In addition to the original Type A, we’ve added Type B, which is more active and plays at a faster tempo.

　This can be changed via "Switch" in the in-game Settings menu for each player.

　Note: Type B is now the default. Even old save data will load with Type B.

Color Variations Now Shown in Battle!

　Character color variations are now reflected during combat as well as on the field.

Improved UI!

　New icons now clearly show which player controls each village, even when using the same character.

Bug Fixes

　Fixed an issue where the battle effect on the field was not displaying correctly.

　Fixed font rendering issues in Japanese, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese.

- Fixed an issue where button settings could become incorrect after a rock-paper-scissors match with Peddler Gametz.
- Resolved a UI display issue that could occur during battles with players using different button display settings.
- Fixed a bug where the UI did not display correctly when the language was set to Simplified or Traditional Chinese and Portrait Effects were set to Dot.
- Addressed a problem where player icons were not displayed properly when an additional color was selected.
- Fixed various minor issues.

Update Details

New Features

Same-Character Battles Now Supported!

At game start, multiple players can now select the same character.

Enjoy matches with no stat differences by having everyone choose the same character!

Three new color variations have been added for characters on the field.

Transform Duration Limit for Darkling Added as a "Secret"!

When using a Contract to transform into a Darkling, you can now set a Transform Duration Limit.

This can be adjusted in the Secret settings.

Note: The default is set to 15 days. If you'd prefer to play without limits, switch to No Limit.

Cross-Language Online Battles Now Supported!

Online matches are now possible between players using different language settings.

Additional Language Support

The following languages are now supported:

Simplified Chinese

Traditional Chinese

Bug Fixes

Fixed a bug that could halt progress when battles occurred at the "Entrance to the Demon World".

Several minor issues have also been resolved.

Here’s a sneak peek at what’s coming in Ver.1.1.0:

- Mirror Matches Now Possible!

Multiple players can now choose and play as the same character in battle.

- Transformation Time Limit for Darkling

You’ll be able to set a custom maximum duration for transformations triggered by using a Contract.

- Cross-Language Online Battles

Multiplayer support now extends across different language settings—enjoy seamless online matches with players globally, regardless of language!

- When playing online matches, the "Text Speed," "Movement Speed," and "Speed Multiplier" are now unified according to the host's settings and can be adjusted.
Please note that the client-side settings will be changed to match the host's settings, and these settings will be carried over after the match ends.
- Fixed an issue where, in the Pionnier, players could occasionally encounter unconfigured monsters or experience progression blocks during monster encounters.
- Fixed an issue in the Weekly Ranking of Online Mode where progression would halt until a CPU-controlled player (formerly a human player) pressed a button.
- Fixed an issue where players in the Drunk state could become unable to progress while in the casino.
- Fixed a bug in Chapter 10 where, under specific conditions, the game would become unresponsive at the start of a turn, preventing further progress.
- Fixed an issue where voice lines would not play correctly during certain events.
- Fixed various minor issues.

- Improved an issue in online multiplayer where, when searching for groups, players could sometimes not be found due to differences in their regions.
- Improved online multiplayer by allowing some settings to be changed on a per-player basis. Please refer to page 34 of the manual for details.
- Fixed an issue where pressing the X (Y) button during command selection in battle also triggered fast-forward; fast-forward will no longer occur.

- Fixed an issue where enabling the button swap setting inadvertently swapped the button layout displayed during battles and rock-paper-scissors. Please note that with this update, the layout will now match that of the actual controller.
- Fixed an issue where adjusting the BGM volume in settings did not affect the movies.
- Fixed an issue where keyboard controls would not work in certain situations.
- Fixed various minor issues.
- When starting online play, matching may fail due to version differences. Please make sure you are running the latest version.

・Improved an issue where audio may not play correctly.
・Fixed a problem where settings were not saved under certain conditions. Due to this update, some settings may revert to their initial values when resuming the game, so please be cautious. When loading data from "Continue" in "Standard Mode," the settings from the title screen will now continue as is.
・Fixed the opening movie that plays when the language is set to English.
