The game launched no problem the first couple of times but since last night I get stuck on the "Glyder Games" screen. The blue bar loads fully but then nothing further happens. I tried verifying integrity of game files and uninstalling and reinstalling but I still get stuck. Any suggestions would be appreciated, I'm terrible at chess but the game is great so far would like to continue playing...

So far, two big issues - sometimes I'll move a piece when I don't want to, sometimes I'll pick a reward when I don't want to. Having it so that when you select a reward it will grey out the other two and show the one you selected, so that when you continue, it'll give it to you would be ideal. For accidental piece moving, it usually happens when I'm checking a piece's possible moves. I'm not quite sure but it might be because there's no indication that my piece is trying to move, so when I do something els...

Hello, how good is the chess engine? What would be the estimated ELO in vanilla positions?

I love the concept of this game, but as someone who barely know how to play chess the difficulty is absolutely ridiculous. An option to show endangered pieces for beginners would help, for starters, also a shop locks and rerolls. But even then, some events are just ridiculous. The frozen lake one was pretty much an instant loss at turn 1 for me, just because of the way my pieces spawned. Whole board ended up frozen with no chance to get away from it....
