Seems you didn't have a experience having your favorite franchise ruined. That's fine.

The game from what I understand was released again, with 0 changes from the original. That's pretty cool.

Considering that this game was made by famous international hacker, i doubt it would be in any kind of danger from those people. At maximum couple of alternatively minded persons would have made some posts/videos "exposing" game creators, but it would not go further than that. Examples: Snoot and I wani.
