Bug on a screen (the cloth screen) ??
There is a point where you have to input the Villein numbers, there is 'someone' with a rock on top, and a screen. I checked online and the screen is supposed to display one number but it's just black. Is it a bug or what? I am pretty sure it would have been the only hint to go further in the game.....

THIS SCREENSHOT IS A SPOILER SO DON'T CLICK IF YOU HAVE NOT REACHED THE 'GREEN' WORLD.

Old walkthroughs and hints here and elsewhere still say you should see the screen light up and show the number, but it will not happen in any builds for any format (PC, Mac, PS4, Xbox) post-2019.

It went from bug > unfixable bug > changed game path to find the hint that used to be on screen.

oh well was not the only hint because it was written 'elsewhere' as well....but still, kind of weird.

Please explain the logic of the Maray pod puzzle
So I reached the pods in Maray and figured out how to access them, but I didn't know what exactly I needed to do to advance. Normally I wouldn't mind spending hours (or even days) thinking about this and exploring elsewhere in order to solve it myself, but my patience has been all but worn out by Maray, especially by the ridiculous maze puzzle which I have no regrets using a guide for. That was just terribly designed.

Anyway, since I had no desire to spend a single second more in this gods forsaken world, I checked online and learned I had to access Farley's and Josef's pods in order to open a door to advance.

First off, how in the world were we supposed to figure out which pods to access, other than guessing? I had actually already accessed Farley's, because she seems to be the main character of the story. But why Josef? Why Farley, for that matter?

Second, even if I totally missed something that flat-out said "access Farley's and Josef's pods to continue," what does that have to do with opening the door? How exactly are those two things connected?

I saw the broken panel by the door that said "222," but entering that into the pod access panel didn't seem to do anything. What am I missing here?

Thanks!

Entering the correct pattern for "222" should take you straight to Josef's pod, which is all you need to advance. Checking out Farley is optional.

The first pattern I tried (I thought) was 222, and it took me to a Villein pod. If 222 was Josef, then I guess I did that wrong the first time.

Thanks!

Bug: No Pod Code from Wounded Villein
I just wanted to point out something that seems like a bug, and would have pretty much halted my progress if I hadn't looked up a guide.

On Maray, I took the tram after solving the maze, and arrived at the pods. At that point I had saved the game, quit, and loaded from that point the next day. When I went to see the wounded Villein up the path, the screen was on top of him, but it was dark. The code "222" that is supposed to appear was not visible. This would be a pretty big hint for which pod number to dial into the elevator. Just a PSA and a suggestion for a future patch, if possible. Did anyone else see this behavior?
Disolucion 7 Dec, 2019 @ 5:07pm
My game also has no screens hanging in the corners, just the dark one on top of the Villein as well. Additionally, there is a code input stand next to the table with the book showing the pod numbers which opens a door that you can see down to the right. I am so confused.

Yep, I had the same experience as Disolucion mentioned. I spent hours trying to get what I should do. And yes, only after looking into walkthroughI've realized that it seems a bug in the game.

Need help ! The door won't open[/h1]
Hi everyone, so I'm at the part just after the maze, where you are supposed to go in the room with the hurt Alien, and it said the door is supposed to open, then you are near the red box.

My problem is that I checked if I didn't forget anything, and I didn't, but when I go to the room with the hurt Alien, first the door won't open, but when I looked over video, the panel/screens that are supposed to be on the wall on both side of the door are not, one is broken near the Alien, also, in my case, there is a machine with the code (you know the circle you join to each other) that allow me to open an other door, but on the video I watched, this machine is not supposed to be here...

The game has changed a bit over time. I think the door that panel opens is the one on the path that would lead back to the entry point with Farley saying "Don't panic"; not everyone needs the transporter.

I believe that there are two different ways the area with the wounded alien can be generated, one with a broken screen lying on / beside him, one with about four of them still mounted to the walls. In either case, the screens should be showing the number 222, though it appears there's a recent bug that sometimes prevents that from happening. If you check the book on the table, you'll see that the mayor's pod is 222. That is a very broad hint.

Thank you for your answer.

About the screen on the floor, yes nothing is appearing on it, I also checked the book, there was in fact a lot of writing like a record book or something and some pattern (I though would be for the machine but I can't use on it, not enough dot). Well, I'm kind of stuck still because if that door doesn't open I can't finish this part...I'll try to look more in the game and on internet. Thank you again !

The book contains storage capsule numbers for everyone... you should be able to find the silo, it has another number pad on that, and you can use that number pad to extract and look at the pods for the people in storage. That's less of a hint... but I'll mention that finding Farley's pod and looking at it does trigger an achievement.

Ditto. Also, the ride is supposed to descend into the storage thingy when it’s done, but it doesn’t. Reload, and it’s gone. I know this because I’ve been deleting the game, tweaking my pc, re downloading the game, and playing past the maze part to check. Multiple times. Send help/Prozac.0_e
Chazz the Elder 14 Jan, 2020 @ 12:47am
Curious. Each time I played the game, the skyride picked itself up and went back to the starting point after it dropped me off. At least, that's what I remember. I remember being vexed that I couldn't ride back on it, certainly.

As for the screens, that does seem to be a recent bug. The screen on top of the wounded Villein did show me the 222 both times I saw him... but it seems you can have hanging screens rather than the one on top of him. Or could. Maybe the bug is that it would display the code on the hanging screens, but forgot to change where the screens appeared? So the code is displayed on screens that are not there...

I got the same thing, a fallen, blank screen, when I played it on Steam on a Windows PC. I had previously played in on my MacBook Pro (purchased through the Apple App Store) and the screen was fallen, but still displayed the number. I started researching it, and most of the walkthroughs show 4 screens displaying the number mounted on the walls at the corners of the room. Why is it different?
Chazz the Elder 1 Feb, 2020 @ 7:57pm
Random. Either there are screens on the wall, or there's a fallen screen, that displays the number. I guess to make subsequent playthoughs more interesting...

Some people have reported that the screens on the wall are missing since a recent patch... makes it hard to proceed if the fallen screen is missing or dark.
