Gameplay
  • Backpack Collision Fix: Fixed an issue where players could collide with the invisible Hidebehind.
  • Teambag Amount Fix: Stealing an item from a dead player's backpack no longer subtracts from the teambag amount (also prevents negative values for the teambag score).
Monsters
  • Monster Navigation Fix: Fixed an issue where Statues and some other monsters couldn't move properly.
  • Monster Behavior Fixes: Improved handling of attacks in monster behaviors and their subsequent actions.
  • Monster Door Crossing Fix: Fixed door-crossing issues that blocked monsters; monsters can now catch players while crossing doors.
  • Banshee Exploration & Standby Fix: The Banshee performs a few movements during exploration before teleporting away. If spotted during the 3rd movement, it now properly cancels exploration to scream instead of continuing and then teleporting away.
  • Banshee Cancel Tweaking: Improved the cancelation of the Banshee's scream action (still requires VFX feedback if the scream is canceled at the moment it is triggered).
  • Blind Ghoul In Control Room Fix: Resolved an issue where the Blind Ghoul could get stuck in the control room.
  • Blind Ghoul Invisible Grid Fix: The Blind Ghoul no longer lifts invisible grids in single-player mode.
  • Blind Ghoul Hearing Tweaks: Increased detection sensitivity for players' voices and some other SFX.
  • Blind Ghoul Locker Door Fix: The Blind Ghoul no longer opens locker doors when opening a nearby room door (rare cases).
General
  • Camera Speed Settings Fix:The camera speed (mouse sensitivity) setting in the Control Settings now applies and saves properly.
  • Network Optimization: Removed unnecessary stamina regeneration network synchronization when empty.

Known Bug:
If you're hit by a tranquilizer dart and fall asleep while exiting the building, there is a chance you may desynchronize from the victory screen and be kicked from the lobby or experience a crash.

Patch note #2 for Dark Hours Prologue (v0.1.10450) - 19/07/2024

Gameplay
  • Item: Fixed an issue where the walkie-talkie wasn't functioning correctly with multiple enemies around
  • Fixed empty safes, now safes are no more empty
  • Minigames co-op interactions and reset of failed for electronic locks have been fixed
  • Fixed final score: backpack loot is now correctly distinguished from team bag loot when exiting the level
Monsters
  • Statues behavior: Statues now chase players faster.
  • Balancing by adding 1 additional statue appears in solo mode and two-player mode
  • End game: when the vault is open, one of the statue will start to chase players faster than the others
Interface
  • UI Improvement to display team information overlay over the inventory
  • Fixed wrong error message "server not available" with "lobby no more available" popup
General
  • Fixed gamepad navigation in the options menu

Patch note #3 for Dark Hours Prologue (v0.3.10524) - 22/07/2024

Known bug
  • If the Hidebehind get flashed while you were caught, there is a chance you lose some controls. Like not being able to do minigames (arrows) or to exit from surveillance camera. The controls can be get back if you enter the surveillance camera and another player tranquilize you. Will be fixed ASAP.
Gameplay
  • Scores are now synchronized at the end of a match, preventing discrepancies where clients might see "Successful Heist" while the server indicates "Failed Heist"
  • Ventilation Duct Bug Fix: Players should no longer get stuck in ventilation ducts if they climb while another player is already at the top. In such cases, players are pushed away
  • Adjusted physics and collisions on certain objects to prevent strange behaviors
  • Object Throw Tutorial: In single player, the tutorial for throwing objects at switches will now appear as long as the grate is not raised (also applies in the vault room)
Monsters
  • Improved monster navigation across doors
  • Statues can now grab players immediately after they are revived if they are close to them
  • Statues can grab players if they are closed to them while another player is dying
  • Statues no longer climb onto low tables
  • Statues no longer pass through grates
  • Tweaking statues behaviors
Online
  • Improved Party Joining: lobbies handle better a high number of players
  • Better support of Steam Friends "invite to game" feature. Now invited players can already be in the game to get the invitation.
  • Online Players Indicator: Added an indicator in the lobby UI showing the number of online players.
  • Fixed "Server Unavailable" issue.
  • Fixed occasional network issues when joining games.
General
  • Mouse Inversion Settings: Added options to invert the mouse X and Y axes.
  • Better feedback and position for mute option in the Lobby
  • Updated the localization for various in-game texts and messages.
  • Added a speaker icon in the lobby that allows players to mute specific individuals.

Patch note #4 for Dark Hours Prologue (v0.3.10583) - 23/07/2024

Gameplay
  • Fixed a bug where a player killed by a gate and revived by a teammate would be teleport outside the map.
  • Computer scores and objectives are now synchronized properly.
  • Fixed input problems occurring after a a player who would have been caught by the Hidebehind get freed by a flash.
  • Better feedback on the final arrow in the hacking minigame if succeed
Monsters
  • Hidebehind: Introduced a cooldown after the Hidebehind is observed and flashed
  • Hidebehind: Increased the flash distance required to make the Hidebehind disappear
  • Hidebehind: better Hidebehind's behaviour
Interface
  • Fixed artefacts due to unwanted UI elements appearing on the screen on Boss' sceen
  • Improved the display of objectives for better clarity
  • The notification for picking up or using a key is now displayed in the player's local language instead of the server language
  • Added a settings window popup when creating a lobby, with saved parameters

  • Added a players list layout in the the mafia boss screen to with possibility to mute/unmute players
General
  • Better synchronization between players during the boss scene.
  • Players will no longer encounter the same monster consecutively.
  • The state of the microphone (muted or unmuted) is save between levels.
  • Fixed an issue where, during scene transitions in multiplayer (Boss scene to Auction House), the camera would briefly show unintended areas.
  • Fixed an issue with post-processing blend-out effects.

Gameplay:
  • New: You can get a preview of what is the 'heist night', the game loop for chaining different missions consecutively.
  • New: You can now select your contract from different mission
  • New: We have added 2 objectives types, "Find and steal" & "Destroy the evidences", to the existing "Steal the vault"
  • New: We have added 5 new missions and their objects to steal
  • New: New playable items: some items are a preview of what could be useful for the next monsters of the Early Access
  • New: One new cryogenic trap in the level, that can replace the previous gaz trap.
  • New: You can push your friend when he is frozen. (Small tip: The hairdryer should keep your friends warm)
  • New: A frozen player can break if hit too many times the walls: be careful to not break your friend!
  • New: Customization is coming! You'll be able to change the colors of your thieves and see what customizations will be unlockable in Early Access.
  • Change: The camera transitions from TPS to FPS should be smoother.

  • Fix: Players would sometimes get stuck in a ragdoll position after a KO; this is no longer the case.
  • Fix: When holding a gate and another player presses the button to raise the door, is no longer killing the player holding the door.
  • Fix: The grabbing of key items, especially the exit key, was difficult, so we made them easier to grab.
  • Fix: Fixed post-process effect for the push action.

  • Fix: The ability to trigger the hacking device minigame alone while playing in multiplayer.
  • Fix: The arrows minigame UI would sometimes remain displayed while no more in the minigame action.

  • New: You can now break the “Statue” monster.

  • Change: Removed the blur when inventory is open.
  • Change: The van cinematic can only be skipped once all players have requested it.

General

Known bugs
  • Early players reports of objectives not always updated even when the objective items are put in the teambag
  • Some physics bugs can still occur

Patch note #7 for Dark Hours Prologue (v0.5P.12313) - 14/10/2024
Gameplay:
  • Change: Balanced items spawn points in the level for a better immersion.
  • Fix: Fixed a bug that prevent objectives to be completed if a second contract was selected with the same kind of objectives.
  • Fix: Prevent some cases where players could throw objects outside the level from vents.
  • Fix: The hud of CCTV camera was only displayed correctly the first time it was used.
Level Design:
  • Change: The duration of the cryo trap visual effects is now shorter.
  • Fix: Fixed glitch where the world appeared incomplete for half a second before cutscenes began.
Interface:
  • Change: Replacing the red cross icon by a "waiting" icon during contract selection for better understanding
  • Change: Some changes in UI including recap timeline and contract selection.
  • Change: Better tweaking of graphics quality settings (Low, Medium, High) to optimize performance
  • Fix: Better feedback on color picker
General:
  • Fix: Some screamers that diseappeared are now back in the game.
  • Fix: In russian, changed some texts for Yes/No selection for toggle crouch feature, replacing the previous True/False texts.
  • Change: We are changing the version number format for players to be able to identify more easily the demo version (0.5D.XXX) against the prologue version (0.5P.XXX)

Monsters
  • Monsters rotation!: The Hidebehind and the Stone Stalkers (statues) are replaced by the Blind Ghoul and the Banshee!
  • Monsters in Security Room: Monsters in the Prologue version can now enter the security room.
Gameplay
  • Ability Execution Safety: Added safety checks for climb and lift abilities to prevent blocking issues in air vents.
  • Slide Invulnerability: Players are temporarily invulnerable during slides.
  • Catch Immunity During Exit: Players can no longer be caught during the exit animation between the door and the van.
  • Adrenaline Shot in Van: Added an adrenaline shot item to the van.

  • Blind Monster Fix: Resolved an issue where the Blind Monster could become stuck in the control room.
Level Design (LD)
  • Director's Office Lights: All lights are now properly synchronized with the light switch in the Director's Office.
Interface
  • Team Info Window Fix: Resolved an issue where the team info window displayed "Alive" for players who were dead.
  • Contract Text Fix: Updated contract text to correctly reflect objectives that require stealing only, removing misleading "Replace" text.
General
  • Pause Button Fix: Addressed a bug where pressing a debug key on the numeric keypad could pause the game unintentionally.
