Broadly. The global server has harsher gacha mechanics and lesser rewards than other servers did for reasons that have not been explained. This alongside the game running at an accelerated schedule makes it massively more difficult for global players to get what they want, while also knowing that other servers had it better.

Biggest thing people are leaving out here is how they made content harder for the same/backloaded rewards.

For example, the latest Guild bosses can one shot your team unless your characters are level 80 and Velvet Trials, which lock your main Persona upgrades and Wonder upgrades, have the enemies buffed by 5+ levels, have weaknesses removes in some of them, and some even have higher score requirements.

Well, I'm exaggerating a bit. But I often notice that Japanese gachas do this. With Chinese and Korean ones, it's a matter of luck (but now they have an identity crisis, mostly because of mihoyo, which is popular not so much because of its quality (as strange as it may sound, since they are most likely the highest quality on the market at the moment), but because of the time of release and now gachas don't try to make new mechanics, but copy them and the blame for this lies with passers-by who whine in any new game that it's not like mihoyo, then they still return to genshin. As ironic as it may sound, it's especially clear how ZZZ suffered from this, where the developers tried to please the majority, and removed its individuality from the game. And I just want a good gacha that I can play during breaks at work

Imagine thinking that players, who are upset that a company is purposefully making the game worse to play, either via decreased game income, accelerated banners, increased event difficulty, and lowered event rewards, all for the sake of trying to force players to spend more money to get the same experience as other regions, are the selfish ones

People shouldn't be paying for any of this stuff at all. It's like you guys are arguing over acceptable rates of blatant Robbery. Gacha is bad period.
