Devlog #3: Time flows, like a fine wine

Dear Managers 🥐

Today, we’re talking about a key ingredient in any brasserie’s life: the passing of time.
And for this Devlog #3, we’re unveiling a complete rework of the time system.

In the current demo, time flows from 10 AM to midnight, but only when you open your brasserie.
A virtual day lasts 30 real minutes, and you can’t close the brasserie once it’s open.
The result? No breaks, no flexible planning… and limited gameplay possibilities.

In the upcoming Early Access, everything changes.

⏳ Time will flow continuously, whether your brasserie is open or not.
🍷 You’ll be free to open and close at will, giving you more control over your day — take a break, explore, or dive into new features... 👀
⏩ You’ll also be able to fast-forward time to jump straight to your preferred hours.

Time of day will have real impact on your brasserie:

Customer traffic will vary throughout the day

Some dishes will only be ordered at specific times

Special events will take place in the evening — or even late at night…

But beware, because Paris never sleeps…
And at night, anything can happen. 🌙

Dear Managers,

We have just released a new patch to address several issues.

Here are the changes included:

Multiplayer

Storage was not being deducted when a guest placed a food order
If a guest disconnected while holding an object, it was destroyed
Fixed sprint replication, which could cause desynchronization
Fixed replication when a guest was holding an object, which also caused desynchronization
Deliveries could occur in parallel on the guest side
Placing dishes from the tray caused issues

Other

Fixed the placement of boxes in the truck
Increased running speed
Increased tolerance for interacting with bar bottles/machines — it's no longer necessary to be directly in front
Reviewed supply prices
Fixed an issue where clients would leave if too many dishes were disabled
After quitting a session, the "Load" button on the main menu no longer appeared
Fixed translation issues

If the game crashes at launch, try starting it with DirectX 11.

Also, make sure to update your graphics drivers — it's an important step.

Devlog #2: Carts, Carts Everywhere

Dear Managers 🥐

We’re happy to kick off this second devlog with an announcement: from now on, we’ll be sharing one devlog every week!

Today’s update introduces two new carts:

One to help you carry dishes,
And another to help you unload boxes from the delivery truck more easily.

You can buy as many of them as you need.

The dish cart lets you transport a large number of items:

Up to 10 ready-to-serve dishes,
50 dirty plates,
And dozens of glasses.

This will greatly optimize your trips between the kitchen and the dining area.
Even better—you can interact directly with tables and the sink, without needing to use the tray!

To speed up deliveries, in addition to two delivery workers who now run instead of walk, you also have access to a hand truck that can carry up to 3 boxes at once.
And maybe... just maybe... it has another surprise use too 👀
