It's been nearly 2 months and just silence from the devs - feels abandoned. There used to be regular patches, dev livestreams and game nights, etc. This is an example of early access done poorly. I haven't been able to play it even since switching to W10. Compare this to how involved and active Stardock and the Oxide devs are for Ashes of the Singularity - it's night and day.

Every time I ask em whats going on I haven't been getting straight answers, so, what I have figured out so far about it

-The Incorruptibles (their most recent IOS/Android game) soft launched about a month before BXP stopped talking about Servo regularly
- http://bonusxp.com/2015/11/launching-games/ This post suggests that a lot of work had to be done to get TIC ready for launch across all markets, and that they're now starting to get on top of it all
-If you check out the steam profiles of various BXP devs, they haven't launched Servo for an office play test in nearly 2 months (around last time they streamed)

Which, to me, implies ---THIS IS JUST SPECULATION--- :
-BXP, with their somewhat small pool of staff, had to choose between triage of a soft launched, live game and putting out another beta update of Servo. The live game won.
-There's no news because there's no news, not because they're not telling us about it
-It could still be some time before an update, even though it has been over 2 months since last one
-A 2015 launch of Servo seems really unlikely

If I'm right and the game has been basically shelved for a few months to divert resources to another game I ain't even mad. I won't speak for everyone though.

What annoys me is that we haven't been directly told by a reliable source what is going on. We'd be probably on Beta 6 by now if the previous pace was kept up, so it is obvious something is up.

BXP, we don't need you to put out a press release, just have Dave or Graham tell us the basics of what is happening in a forums post.

I agree. I don't think they planned to disappear like this, but the silence is there for all to see. No dev posts, no dev stream, no news posts etc for 2 months. We've literally been abandoned. That, to me, is worse than having no patches for 2 months. I'm unsure you'd agree with that though considering you can't play the game at all, lol.

I just check every few weeks to see, one of my most favourite games in terms of potential

HI guys, we expect to have a major new build soon. Lots of changes as it moves from alpha to beta.

Nice, glad to hear that. Any idea what sort of time frame we can expect this in?

Thanks Brad. BTW, is the pricing plans in the official site's FAQ still the plan? Specifically, 30 dollars to buy during beta, 40 dollars at launch?

An update! I am glad.

Was beginning to get worried this was going the abandon-ware route, which would be a shame as it has tons of potential. Love slowly building better bots up, wish ashes of the singularity had more of that, rpg'ish unit building and stuff, hunting epic loot like diablo.
