Aye, that's why I was wondering. This game is dead. Another early access devs didn't even bothered to finish. This kind of behaviourshould be downright illegal!
They just launched a phone game, first phone game they've done in years, of course their socmed accounts are going to be pimping it. This doesn't excuse the lack of news, but why would it be weird that their socmed pages are decked wall to wall with The Incorruptibles?
I personally think it is unacceptable that they give you the impression that this is canceled regardless of if it actually is or not. I have no idea what is going through their heads, it is my opinion that they messed up the end of this beta. They were not prepared to engage with steam early access players all the way to launch, which is what is expected on this platform. I think they might have taken the low traffic to mean no one cared that much about beta. But stuff like this keeps coming up. FWIW I tweeted a link to this thread when you posted it to Dave, Brad Wardell and the BXP company twitter account. Brad probably didn't even see it, but I'm sure Dave and Graham saw it, disappointed neither took the minute or so that'd be required to say hi, game's not cancelled, sorry about the slow updates, cya and then disappear again. Come on, y'all.
In all honesty, we need some form of "dev ban list" that is easily accessible by the gaming community for this very specific reason.
Yeah that's sadly true :(
Lets not get overkill here man xDD I rarely support Early Access, but I don't like to put every worm in the same can. But yeah, a dev blacklist would be nice to have!
It is pretty overkill for every sitch IMO. We can already leave negative reviews and tell people we know to wide berth a game (speaking of reviews I should probably edit my old one for this to say updates are slow now and they don't do play with devs nights anymore)
