It seems you can milk the 2nd boss for score by shooting down the small spawning drones (crabs?) and avoiding the reactors, for as long as you want, if you have a decent 3 way primary and no homing weapons.

If you die there should be a way of simply restarting the current level with the ships I had there. The long way around to the main menu and building a new ship *and* starting from level 1 AGAIN is fricking tedious. But no developers around anyways, are there?...

You can't even exit the cracker intro (nice idea, BTW!) with mouse and keyboard. It seems the entire game is unusable without a controller! Edit: while pressing every key up and down the keyboard I obviously missed the right key: J. Would still be much better IMO if the game also accepts Ctrl/Shift/Space as menu key....

Are the original versions included or is this *just* the resurfaced one? It says it was built from scratch so it would suggest it's the latter but I would HOPE I'm wrong assuming the the original material was lost. As for the graphics I mentioned in the title, is it possible to deactivate the "shiny" stuff? I get that it looks cool at a glance and all but, and this might just be me but still, I feel like this takes away from the experience rather than add to it.
