Dear Inheritors,

As a publisher of games, it is our mission to provide our players with great and enjoyable gaming experiences, so it is with heavy hearts that we announce the official closure of our ArcheAge servers, effective June 27, 2024. 

After discussing the performance of ArcheAge with XL Games at length, we have concluded that we’re no longer able to provide the MMORPG we envisioned. The declining number of active players means the game’s content is no longer accessible in the way it used to be, and the experience of it is different from what was originally intended. In light of this, we’ve made the difficult decision to terminate the live service of ArcheAge in Europe and North America.

We understand this news is disappointing, for it’s a feeling we share. ArcheAge has been a big part of our lives, and we know many of you have a history with the game many times longer than ours. As we approach the end of this journey, we invite you to join us as we ride into the sunset:

Roadmap:

• Game Access: ArcheAge servers will remain live until 08:00 UTC on June 27, 2024.
• Customer Support: Our support team will be available until September 27 to assist with any inquiries or concerns.

We want to extend our deepest gratitude to every member of Nuia, Haranya, and the Pirates who called ArcheAge home. Your spirit and stories will forever be a part of the legacy we created together. Though our paths may diverge, the memories we made will always remain.

If you have made your purchase through Steam, please reach out to Steam’s Customer Support, as we are not able to process refunds for purchases made through Steam. Steam’s refund policies may differ from those of Kakao Games.
Any Patron time and Tactful Life buff time remaining after April 25, 2024, will automatically be exchanged to Credits at the following ratio:

• 1 Day Patron: 50 Credits
• 1 Day Tactful Life: 41 Credits

Purchasing Credits will no longer be possible as of this announcement. Existing Credits you have in your account’s balance will remain available until the end of the service.

The in-game Marketplace will remain available until the end of the service, along with all your yet unused Credits.

Your personal information stored in the ArcheAge database will be permanently deleted within two weeks of service termination, but your Kakao Games platform account will remain accessible as usual.

If you wish to delete your Kakao Games account, for the purpose of clearing your online footprint or otherwise, please visit your Account page and refer to the “Delete my account” segment at the bottom of the “MY INFORMATION” tab.

Transferring your in-game data to a different region is not possible.

Like Kakao Games Europe, publishers of ArcheAge in other regions have also implemented IP blocks based on their respective licensing agreements. If you eventually find yourself part of a different publisher’s Territory of Service, you are more than welcome to play. Keep in mind that your EUNA in-game data will not be available in other regions, and you will have to start with a fresh account.

We will not be providing items on an individual basis, but we are preparing the equipment giveaway event and progress support event. We hope to make great memories in ArcheAge during the rest of the service. You can find the event details here.

The April 25 patch is the last content update that will be added to the EU/NA version of ArcheAge. In case a critical issue occurs, additional hotfix patches will be prepared to ensure the game is in a working state.

We will no longer accept new applicants to join the ArcheAge Partners program from April 25, 2024. The existing Partners and Creators can continue to enjoy benefits of the program until June 27, 2024 in which the program will be discontinued. Additionally, the ArcheAge official Discord will remain open until June 27, 2024.

[Content - Improvements]

The "Exalted Hiram Infusion" and "Dimensional Hiram Infusion" can now be used on all Hiram Guardian Equipment. 

• To ease the difficulty of upgrading to Brilliant Hiram Guardian Equipment from Hiram Guardian Equipment, we have expanded the use of "Exalted Hiram Infusion" and "Dimensional Hiram Infusion" from Glorious Hiram Guardian Equipment to all tiers of Hiram Guardian Equipment.

 

"Enhance" is now available for Erenor and Awakened Erenor equipment. 

• Based on your feedback about the inability to use the "Enhance" system on Erenor and Awakened Erenor equipment despite their enhanced stats, we have adjusted the system. The "Enhance" feature is now available for both Erenor and Awakened Erenor equipment, ensuring better balance with other equipment.
• Enhance levels vary depending on the Equipment grade.

[Abyssal Kraken]

Instead of awakening during the "Defeat the Kraken!" quest, the Abyssal Kraken will now appear directly with a certain chance.

Changed the crafting materials for the Luna Charm Rank 6.

• Removed the "Territory Coin" crafting material.

"Garden Arcane Manastone" event has begun. (Until May. 16th (Thur), 2024 before maintenance)  

• Defeat Legendary boss monsters in Garden of the Gods to receive "Garden Arcane Manastone Crystal" and "Unstable Erenor Infusions" as additional rewards.
• Complete "Fairy Request" quest at Rank 4 or above to receive "Garden Arcane Manastone" as an additional reward.
• You can use a "Garden Arcane Manastone" to craft "Sealed Mana Arcane Infusion" with Radiant Hiram Infusion x10.
• "Sealed Mana Arcane Infusion" can be traded.

"Glorious Hiram Awakening Scroll" can now be obtained from Garden of the Gods monsters.

A tooltip has been added to the Furniture Chest to show that Guild-exclusive furniture cannot be stored. 

Fixed an error where the Increased Skill Damage was displayed as Increased Attack in the description of "Ipnysh Protection" enhancement. 

• Ipnysh Protection enhancement increases all Skill Damage +15%, Physical Defense +15%, and Magic Defense +15%.

Fixed an issue where the NPC selection effect within the Advanced Fellowship Plaza appeared red like enemy factions. 

Fixed an issue where using "Soulbane Sleeves of Stillness" did not increase the Silence duration. 

 
The "Golo's Lost Treasure Chest" event has begun. (Up until the maintenance on Apr. 25, 2024) 

• "Key Sent by Golo" x15 will be sent via Mail to the first character you log in with during the event period. (For all players, 1 per account per day)
• You can defeat Auroria monsters during the event period to obtain Lost Treasure Chest.
• Chances for a drop increase with higher monster grade. (Normal: 0.5%, Strong: 3.0%, Elite: 5.0%)
• You can open the 'Lost Treasure Chest' by consuming 1 'Key Sent by Golo' and 100 Labor to claim rewards.
• Your character needs to be Lv55+ and 6,000+ Equipment Points to open the chest.

• Villanelle becomes a peace zone during the festival period.
• You can move to the Villanelle festival region through the Worldgate at Marianople, Austera, Diamond Shores, and Growlgate Isle.

The Springtime Essence Awakening event has started. (Until Apr. 11th (Thur), 2024 before maintenance) 

• Players can purchase a "Springtime Essence: Rank 1" from the Marketplace for free (once per account) during the event period.
• During the event period, 1 "Springtime Essence Growth Scroll" will be sent by mail every 20 min while you are online, depending on conditions.
• You can use the Springtime Essence Growth Scrolls and 10 Labor to upgrade Springtime Essence and exchange them for various items.
• Your character needs to be Lv55+ and 6,000+ Equipment Points to participate in this event.

Added NPC Exile Broker who sells Nuia/Haranya/Pirate Faction Exile Scrolls to Freedich Island.

• (1) Freedich Island Southwest Coast: "Disguised Boram" sells Nuia Alliance Exile Scroll
• (2) Freedich Island East Coast: "Berr (Reading Poem)" sells Haranya Alliance Exile Scroll
• (3) Freedich Island Northeast Coast: "Ryuchul" sells Pirate Faction Exile Scroll
  • Faction Exile Scroll can be purchased with 100k Honor Points.
  • If a Faction Exile Scroll is not used within 6 hours of purchase, it will expire. If a Faction Exile Scroll is used, there is a 7-day cooldown period upon use.
  • All Faction Exile Scrolls share a cooldown. Your character needs to be Lv55+ to use the Faction Exile Scroll.

Adjusted the rewards for "Ipnysh Warden" in the "Ipnysh Sanctuary" instance dungeon. 

• In response to feedback from our players, the rewards for defeating "Ipnysh Warden," the 3rd boss, in the "Ipnysh Sanctuary" instance dungeon have been improved as follows:
  • Rewards (Current): Sanctuary Coinpurse
  • Rewards (New): Sanctuary Coinpurse x1-3, Sunglow Lunagem x1, Warden's Manashard x5-10, Sanctuary Enhancer x1
• Grants the "Scattered Ipnysh Warden" buff effect that helps in Health Regen and Mana Regen of the character within a certain radius upon defeating "Ipnysh Warden."

Adjusted Delphinad Ghost Ship rewards.

• You can obtain Haunted Chest, Epherium Equipment Awakening Materials, and Delphinad Equipment upon defeating Delphinad Ghost Ship.
• The quantity of Relic Trade Packs that appear upon defeating Delphinad Ghost Ship is increased to 20.
• For Pirates, the quantity of gifts through Delphinad Ghost Ship Protection is changed to 10.

Improved the visibility of Black Dragon's "Whirlwind" skill. 

• In response to the feedback that Black Dragon's "Whirlwind" skill is not visible enough in multiple combat situations, the visual effect of the skill has been improved to make it more noticeable.

Added a feature to change the Danger Level of Aegis Island and Whalesong Harbor areas. 

• The Danger Level of Aegis Island and Whalesong Harbor regions remained unchanged for an extended period of time, causing it difficult to progress in related content such as "Shadowed Torch" and "Weakened Tower." To address this issue, a feature was added to automatically change the Danger Level to the next level if it remained unchanged for a set time.
• If the Danger Level of the Aegis Island and Whalesong Harbor regions remains unchanged for 140 minutes each, it will automatically advance to the next level.

  Added "Quick Enter" function to "Sea of Drowned Love." 

• Added "Quick Enter" function to "Sea of Drowned Love" instance dungeon.
• Changed the minimum number of players allowed from 3 to 1.

Manaburst Trebuchet will no longer move during the Grimghast Rift.

Moving alternate characters from the same faction or Manaburst Trebuchet during a peace state would obstruct the view of the "Trebuchet Construction Site" or interfere with its path. Adjustments have been made so that once a "Manaburst Trebuchet" is completed, it remains stationary.

• We will continue to monitor and improve the interruption issues in the game.

Added "Edit Team" button to modify the requirements for recruiting the Instance Team in the Team Info screen.

Added "Kick from Instance Immediately" feature to immediately kick the "inactive player."

• Only the team leader can view the menu and use the "Kick from Instance Immediately" feature. Raid Commander cannot view or use the feature.
• Kick Immediately can be used once every 15 minutes.
• Players kicked by Kick Immediately cannot re-enter the instance.

Improved team recruitment system to allow participants to prepare for team recruitment before the instance entry time.

• Improved the matching system in Golden Plains Battle, Red Dragon's Keep, and Kadum Instances to address long waiting times for registration and team recruitment, which often exceeded actual playtime.            
• The "Recruit/Search" button will be activated 10 minutes before the instance starts, and a banner will be displayed on the top right.
• Please note that the "Enter" button will be activated from the Entry Time. (Same as before.)

Enhanced the registration system to make it easier to reapply for entry if there is an unintended cancellation during the registration.

Increased the durability of Farm Vehicles. 

• The durability of Farm Vehicles has remained unchanged for a long time compared to the growth speed of characters, which made it easy to get destroyed by other characters during Trade and Grimghast Rift contents. To address this issue, the durability has been increased.
• Also, when using the "Add Additives" skill, Physical/Magic Defense of Farm Vehicles will increase by 25% while active.

Added a new Collection Achievement for Mounts. 

• Upon completing all achievements, you can obtain "Shining Ruler's Heart" to awaken "Andelph Drakora" or "Onyx Andelph Drakora."

Adjusted Collection Achievement item grades.

• We have adjusted Collection Achievement item grades as they were too low for their performance and the difficulty level of obtaining them. We hope this will allow players to enjoy the relevant content.

• Anyone can use the "Woof Meow Summon Stone" at Diamond Shores immediately after it spawns.

• How to Participate
  • You can receive The Furious Pet Institution's Adorable Schemes daily quest from Cheering Cow (NPC) at Mirage Isle during the event period.
  • After receiving the quest, you must defeat 3 Woof Agents or Meow Agents near Marianople/Solis Headlands/Diamond Shores and then return to Cheering Cow to complete the quest.

    • When: They will keep appearing during the event period
    • Where: Fields around Marianople/Solis Headlands/Diamond Shores

Defeat the Woof and Meow Commanders (Daily Quest)

• During the event period, you can defeat Woof Commander or Meow Commander at Marianople/Solis Headlands/Diamond Shores through the two cases below.
  • Automatically spawned: When Woof Commander and Meow Commander automatically spawn at the designated spawn time (EU: 19:00–23:00 CET/NA: 17:00–21:00 PST), they can be defeated.
    • They automatically appear at Marianople (1 location) / Solis Headlands (1 location) / Diamond Shores (2 locations).
  • Summoning Stone: Every 6 hours, the Woof Meow Summon Stone can be used to spawn them. They will appear 5 min after the Summoning Stone is used (only the Faction Hero can spawn them at first, and then anybody can spawn them 30 minutes later).
    • The Summoning Stone appears at Marianople (1 location) / Solis Headlands (1 location) / Diamond Shores (1 location)

• How to Participate
  • You can receive the Defeat the Woof and Meow Commanders daily quest from Cheering Cow (NPC) at Mirage Isle during the event period.
• Rewards
  • Use 10 Dog Tokens to craft an Image Item: Puppy Onesie.
  • Use 10 Cat Tokens to craft an Image Item: Kitty Onesie.

• You can receive additional rewards by completing achievements during the event period.

 

• You must be Lv. 55 or higher to participate in the event.
• All Daily Quests reset at CET 23:00 (PST 21:00).
• Woof Commander and Meow Commander will appear every day at CET 19:00 (PST 17:00) and then disappear at CET 23:00 (PST 21:00).
• The Woof Meow Summon Stone can be immediately used only by the Faction Hero, but can be used by anybody 30 minutes later.
• The Woof Meow Summon Stone at Diamond Shores can be immediately used by anybody.
• The Retrieved Sweets, Dog Cat Token Box, Dog Token, and Cat Token disappear at CEST 05:00 (PDT 03:00) on Apr. 18 (Thurs), 2024.
• Event reward items cannot be restored once they have been destroyed.
