Game totally broken. Doesn't start.
I have tried several different compatibility modes, verifying install files, reinstalling the game, restarting the computer, updating the computer, restarting steam, etc.

The game will not launch.

Any help? Game appears to be broken for some modern setups.

Please go to the store page for the game, scroll down a bit, and click the little flag icon on the right-hand side of the screen. Click the "Broken" option to report the game as broken.

Here is the text I entered if you just want something to copy:

This game does not appear to function on Windows 11. It's impossible to even start the game and get into the main menu. For this reason, I believe this is considered a broken product that is up for sale.

No way I'm getting anywhere near a remaster if this isn't fixed or removed from the steam store.

Hey buddy! I fixed the issue for myself, at least. I actually fixed it by following a guide provided by the publisher on their website. It involves downloading a pre-made config file from their site and placing it in the correct folder on your computer.

Once I got the game running, I was able to close it and edit the config file to get a higher resolution. I haven't been able to get the game running in fullscreen, though. The highest resolution I have successfully tried is 1440x900
