..Eh. Honestly if I could give a neutral review, this would be the game to give it on.

The game is interesting to think about, and it is a nice art piece, but I'm not sure it's a very good *game* so to speak. You as a player don't get to interact much, just experience it like a passenger in a book or a movie. Both very valuable experiences, certainly, but the game talking at me all the time and forcing me into paths felt somewhat patronizing. I don't think this is necessarily bad, as this linear experience is about game making and games as a whole, but it's not the kind of thing I look for.

This game left me with a lot of things to say about it, which I'd rather have over a game that I dislike and just with I'd never played it, but I'm not sure if I would go out and tell people to play it. Pick it up if you want a somewhat sad look at a fictional designer's catalogue.

[Spoilers. If the rest of the reviews interest you - I say give this game a shot. It's only an hour and a half and it's relatively cheap. If you're still iffy, the following passage will discuss the end of the game and will affect your experience playing through it] Yes, I understand we're dealing with an unreliable narrator and therefore most of what he said throughout the game is just him projecting onto Coda. It's him forcing his view of things onto someone else, and so much of his narration is similar to that. His view of making games is skewed and affects ours, but even if it's done intentionally I think it's a game that's fun to think about more than it is to play.

This is 100% garbage. There is zero insight, it's empty drivel.
