Boson X
No one plays anymore
It makes me sad that no one plays anymore, Boson X is such an amazing game and I wish I could find more people who play. Are there any alternatives that might be newer and more enjoyable?

I still pick up the game now and then! Super Hexagon is probably the most often-made comparison to Boson X as a similar game. JUMPGRID and Velocibox are good ones as well.
I also wish Boson X had a larger community, but fast-paced games like this unfortunately don't retain communities very well since there isn't much room for discussion...

I just completed all the levels today, so I guess I just have to improve my scores. Good luck on your journey

Terrible game controls is what killed the game. I already made a review about it. I don't give good reviews to half-baked games that enjoy wasting my time.

I'd argue it's simple controls more than terrible, but maybe that's due to my love for the game.
Half-baked in what way? Its a platformer - it has platforms and a way to get to them, as well as a scoring system. Does it need to be more?

open hexagon
Was a fun game, but the moment I came to the blinking blocks at stage 5 I called it quits.

Fake difficulty. Not fun. Moving on.

Back when I first got Boson X, I also got Super Hexagon and 140. These 3 games are the best PC indie games in my collection. I've finished Hexagon and 140, now I'm back to Boson X in 2024 to get 100%. I love this game!
