I'm not going to complain much because I have the Epic version that was free a while back but as someone who specifically didn't buy the game when it came out because of the lack of saving (even though I'm a huge Prince of Persia fan so I appreciate the aesthetics very much) I just have to ask: why? This "roguelight" thing where you're supposed to grind and enable stuff that makes the game easier instead of you know, just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ saving, reloading and completing it like a regular videogame is...

I spent one wish with the "disable traps" genie the other day. Allowed me to focus more on enemies and loot, than on the environment, allowing for a more casual, faster and overall less stressing experience. But I found that, part of the fun lies in using traps against enemies, so disabling traps (either partially or completely), removes not only a big chunk of challenge but also dynamism in play (like improvisation) which leads to a less entertaining playthrough....
