・Fixed Bug Causing Unresponsiveness When Accessing Volunteer Guidance Requests
Fixed a bug that caused the game to become unresponsive when attempting to access the Volunteer Guidance Request from the cell monitor.

・ Adjusted Invincibility Frames During Evasion with Autocannons
Fixed a bug where invincibility frames during evasion were unintentionally extended when using Autocannons.

・ Fixed Bug Where Thorn Ejection Could Skip Cutscenes
Fixed a bug where the Thorn Ejection button could unintentionally skip all in-battle camera cutscenes, such as those triggered when downing an Abductor.

・ Fixed Bug Where Lock-On Was Cancelled During Spear Attacks
Fixed a bug where the lock-on would be disengaged when performing a weak attack with a spear while locked onto an enemy.

・ Fixed Bug Where Accessory Loadout Deletion Caused Incorrect Display
Fixed a bug where deleting an accessory loadout in "Contribution Guidance Request > Appearance/Body Modification Records" would leave the accessory's loadout name visible while incorrectly deleting the Sinner's loadout name.

・ Fixed Bug Where Destination Icon Remained After Operation Completion
Fixed a bug where the destination icon would remain displayed after completing the operation "DO: XX8-5: Liquidation"

・ Fixed Bug Where Skip Button Displayed as Thorn Ejection Button During Battles
Fixed a bug where the skip prompt during skippable battle cutscenes was incorrectly displayed as the Thorn Ejection button.

・【Steam】Fixed Bug Where Gamepad Inputs Were Incorrect
Fixed a bug where improper inputs could occur when using a gamepad, such as difficulty controlling movement with the analog stick.

・ Improved Game Stability
Fixed several crash-related bugs to improve overall game stability.

Fixed other bugs.

■Specification adjustments/changes

・ Ajusted Burn Damage
Increased the damage dealt by the Burn status effect, triggered by accumulated fire-based attacks.

・ Adjusted Tracking Performance of Artificial Abductors’ Weapons
Adjusted the tracking performance of "H Missile Pod" and "Guided Missile Launcher" armaments used by Artificial Abductors.

・ Adjusted Accessory Behavior to Improve Hit Detection with Certain Weapons
Adjusted the behavior of Accessories equipped with Igel-series weapons to improve hit accuracy, as attacks would often land short of the target.

・ Adjusted Weapon Balance
-Murasame Series: Increased movement speed.
-Murasame & Damascus Knife Series: Increased damage for weak attack combos and downward slash in vertical spinning attacks.
-AAW Series: Decreased damage multiplier and blast radius in PvP; increased ammo replenishment rate.
-Igel Series: Increased magazine capacity, maximum ammo capacity, ammo replenishment rate, movement speed, and damage multiplier in PvP; attacks can now hit multiple parts.
-Blaster Series: Increased power, stagger damage, blast radius, headshot multiplier, and damage multiplier in PvP.
-Phalanx Series: Increased magazine capacity and maximum ammo capacity.
-Enryu Series: Adjusted to reduce the likelihood of bullets hitting the ground immediately after firing.
-Nambu Series: Adjusted to reduce the likelihood of bullets hitting the ground immediately after firing. Also, increased power and maximum lock-on count.
-Creamy Series: Increased magazine capacity and maximum ammo capacity.
-Mutated Weapons (Ammo Replenishment Rate): Significantly increased mutation parameters.

・ Adjusted Part Break and Acquisition Rewards for General-Purpose Artificial Abductors
Adjusted the resource grades (A/B/C/D) obtained from part breaks and part pickups on Standard Bipedal and Quadrupedal Artificial Abductors to match the level of the target Abductor.

・ Adjusted GDPP Earned in PvP Operations
Adjusted the amount of GDPP earned on the results screen of PvP operations.

・ Added Dash Function Option
Added an option to enable or disable dashing by holding down the evade button, located under "Sinner Management Menu > Options > Other Settings."

・ Relaxed Requirements for Temporary Accessory Selection
Changed the feature so that temporary accessories—previously only usable when your own accessory was abducted—can now be freely used in any operation where accessories can accompany you.
Note: Temporary Accessories = Accessories of players who have exchanged Fellow Cards.

・ Added TIPS Viewing Function
Added a function to view TIPS from "Accessory Services > Education Program Review Request.

・ Changed Display Format of Modular Selection Screen
Changed the display format of the Modular Selection Screen so that if you possess multiple modulars of the same type, they will be grouped together by type.

・ Changed Sort Function in Equipment Customization Screen
Changed the sorting function in the Equipment Customization Screen so that when sorting by "Category," the items are now sorted by weapon series instead of alphabetically by weapon name.

Most people didn't even play the original game, it was on a dead system nobody bought. What's with all the complaints about how lazy the remaster is? Did ONLY Vita veterans buy this game or something? It would be one thing if the complaints were mainly about the jank controls, but a surprising number of complaints are just "they didn't change enough!" IT'S ON PC! It feels like they just ported the Vita version over, changing nothing.

You would expect to be able to mess with settings on the main menu, correct? Well... you're forced to play a few missions before you can touch more of the options menu for things like audio, etc.; even then, not everything will be switched.

This is one of those tittles that if you're not playing with other people, you're better off passing on it, because half the time it's as if the AI aren't even there, leaving you to get slammed between 4 monsters like a ping pong ball while they are stuck running in various directions.

Very glad to finally play this outside of my ancient Vita! One of my favorites from yesteryear.

It's not without flaws, but it's got such a specific charm to it I can't help but love it.

This game is really fun...

Until they start spamming 2-3 abductors at that can 2 shot you take 8 min to kill and spam attacks so much you cant get a revive out... seriously why the constant stomp spam? i hate getting stun locked because 2 of them decide to grope up on me... (side note WTF are our abductors? sure would come in handy XD)...

I like the game for nostalgic reasons. But for anyone who has options, you are better served by playing any Monster Hunter available on Steam.

Freedom Wars has a really boring story that ends abruptly and feels unfinished, a bland setting and, in comparison to Monster Hunter, very few large enemy types. It also commits the sin of equating difficulty with throwing more enemies at the player, but with heavily ballooned health pools.

If you care about anti-cheat, then as of this review it has one. This only matters if you want to play online. However, I have never experienced problems with it.

I just checked something, since there are some conservative (minority) trolls that annoy a number of people in this thread: In the system trailer there has been shown that the Voice Type of the Accessory has been changed from Female / Male Voice Type to Type B / A Voice . At the moment there exist no footage about the Sinner customization, neither about the full customization about the Accessory. So all this fuse of BODY TYPE A/B and "DEI world-domination" BS is made up mostly, like it...

・【PS4/PS5/Steam】 Adjustments to the Mobility of the Biped Abductor
A bug that caused unintended speeds for the movement of Biped Abductors has been fixed.

・【PS4/PS5/Steam】 Adjustments to the Peltatum's Suction Attack
A bug that caused unintended amount of movement for Suction Attacks of Peltatum-type has been fixed.

・Unable to Transition to Charge Attacks Immediately After Dashing
A bug where you couldn't transition to charge attacks immediately after dashing when using Heavy Melee or Polearms has been fixed.

・Fixed Modular Selection Bug
Personal Firearm: A bug where an invalid modular (increased fire rate) could be selected has been fixed for the Pulsar system.

・Adjustments to Item Drop Behavior
A bug where enemy drop items in Operation 7-4 could disappear after being dropped has been fixed.

・Fixed Bug with Unacquired Weapons Being Notified
A bug where unacquired weapons were incorrectly notified upon destroying weaponry on certain Large Abductors has been fixed.

・Adjustments to Ally NPC Behavior

・Addition of "Citizen" Tab to Application for Sentence Reduction screen
A "Citizen" tab has been added to Application for Sentence Reduction. (※GDPP at the time of Citizen donation will be zero.)

・Enhanced Severing Damage
The damage from severing attacks has been strengthened. Additionally, the performance difference between button mashing and holding the button has been adjusted to be almost equivalent.

・Permanent Availability of Retribution Volunteer
A "Special Volunteer Dispatch Lottery Terminal" has been added to the cooperative volunteer rooms, allowing players to use the Entitlement Points to obtain the Retribution Volunteer.

・Eased Difficulty in Acquiring limited Exclusive Resources for Retribution Volunteer
A new selection of resources available for purchase from Ethan at Level 6 has been added.

・Weapon Balance Adjustments
Balance adjustments have been made for SR, AR, Phalanx, Pulsar, and Dragonfang weapons:
SR: Headshot multiplier and magazine capacity have been strengthened.
AR: Flinch damage and the impact of attribute values have been strengthened.
Pulsar: The impact of attribute values has been strengthened.
Phalanx: The impact of attribute values has been strengthened.
Dragonfang: Power, headshot multiplier, and maximum magazine capacity have been strengthened.

・Addition of PvP Volunteer Start Function for Small Groups
A function has been added that allows PvP volunteer missions to start when there are 2 or more players in the room.
※Missing participants will be filled by Sinner NPCs

・Change in default value of application authority for Cooperative Volunteers
The default setting for the application authority of cooperative volunteers has been changed from "Host Only" to "Everyone."

・Adjustment of Success Rate for Modular Synthesis
The success rate for modular synthesis has been adjusted, making it easier to strengthen modules.

・Adjustment of Attack Hit Display for SR and AR Weapons
The damage display position for SR and AR weapon hits has been adjusted to prevent overlap.

・Addition of Accessory Voice Language Switch Function
A language switch function for Accessory’s voices has been added to the " Window on Liberty > Auditory Language Change Request" menu.
※Accessory’s voices support both Japanese and English languages.
※To correctly play the customized response voices, you need to re-enter the dialogue in the selected language.

・Additional Specs for the "Spider Thread" Status Effect
When affected by the "Spider Thread" status effect, players can now escape from the restrained state more quickly by pressing buttons.

・Adjustment to the Spawn Frequency of Shielded Abductors
The spawn frequency of shielded Abductors has been adjusted.

・Adjustment to Dodge Action Performance
Dodge action performance has been adjusted. Additionally, the window for transitioning from getting up after being downed to a dodge has been extended.
