I’ve been playing since release, so two months now, and honestly miss when it was time for my daily flower collection and seeing a variety of island layouts.

And no, I’m not talking about the excessive amounts of “flower island” where all the celestia’s gifts are clumped into one area, and the rest of the islands are just filled with water and nonsense of lamps with random decors and now weird table pathways that can get my character stuck (cool idea btw… but tbh I hate it).

I’m talking about when players who took time to decorate their island the way they want and not just for the sake of flower collecting for visitors. I miss that, a lot. I loved seeing the creativity but now it’s all to appease for the flower layouts. What happened?

I know many don’t want to run around and collect flowers but there are still some of us (I’m hoping) who do enjoy seeing actual island tours. Please don’t feel discouraged to open your island for flowers just because it doesn’t meet the weird 80 tile flower rules!

If there is a keyword for what I’m asking for here, I’d love to know. While I appreciate the usual flower islanders out there even though I don’t even need the flowers anymore, I miss exploring the non-flower island layouts.

I used to open mine and have sparked ideas for visitors and even received nice compliments, but started to see many join then leave when they see I don’t have a flowerbed of flowers right infront of the guild house, I get it-you’ve been spoiled by flower layouts.

But man I miss the first month of this game, so many cool islands. I was hoping newer players now would be opening up too but I feel like they’ve been discouraged to do so if their layout is not flower island quota. Defeats the purpose that the devs had for visiting each other’s islands. Sigh, oh well.
