Steam Cloud not Syncing?
I haven't had this problem with any other game, but for some reason FLi will not sync with steam's cloud. I'm nervous to play since it says I might lose save data, but I'm not sure how to fix this. Is it a me problem or is anyone else experiencing this?

This just started happening for me after having no issues at all. It started after I played on my Steam Deck last night. All other games sync just fine.

I've been having the same issue too. I almost lost 3+ hours of playtime before going back onto my Steam Deck and resuming my game. Close call! Hope this gets resolved soon!

Im told theirs no such thing as a stupid question, so I have a stupid question.
ive never used steam cloud saves before, playing completely pc/sd but with fantasy life would like to play on both how would I know that the save thats synced is the upto date one?
do I check on the deck (where ive played exclusively) that its synced to the cloud or on pc or both?

It's not stupid at all. If you look to the right of the play button it will say "Steam Cloud up to date" and that means that you saves are fully synced between your PC and Steam Deck. The only issue that could pop up is if you use the stand by function of the Deck and then load the game on your PC without shutting the game down on your Deck first. That would cause a conflict. Steam will also ask you which one you want to keep if it does detect a conflict. Usually with games like this you would want to pick the most recent date if you did get a conflict.

The issue that I was having is that it wouldn't upload the saves from my Deck or PC. But the last couple of days it's been working fine. It might have just been an issue with the Steam servers.

Ah thank you, I do use the sleep function a lot so basically just need to exit on deck so it can upload the save, cheers😉👍
