A small but actually very important update!

Moving the camera should now be more intuitive, try using the mousewheel to see the change!
SOUL PARK whould now run just fine on Steam Deck (sorry for everyone who had to wait!)
We improved the "limited time" section of the shop

- he is now the one that greets you during the shop tutorial
updated splashscreen

QOL IMPROVEMENTS

improved camera movements!
- Rolling the mousewheel (or pinching on touchscreen) now makes the camera go forward or backward in the direction it's facing instead of just going up or down
the limited time category is now first in the list
added a setting to show/hide the framerate
tweaked some dialogues to better match the new customer types

BUGFIXES

fixed button label not showing when selecting an empty save file in the save loader
fixed game not launching on Steam Deck
fixed text missalignment in the keyboard settings
fixed camera glitch after holiday intro
fixed shop category shortcuts
fixed hats obstructing vision if you changed it in FPV

Soul Park

Game does not start at all

On Linux, the game does not start at all. Neither as the native app, nor in proton. When starting the program from command line (./AppRun), then a loading screen appears for a moment, but disappears immediately. Likely the game notices that it wasn't started out of steam....

CHRISTMAS EVENT

added an introduction for a christmas event
ADDED NEW HOLIDAY THEMED PRODUCTS ONLY AVAILABLE IN DECEMBER IN THE LIMITED TIME SHOP SECTION:
- ride: The Corruption Workshop
- drink shop: Bloody Hot Drinks
- snack: Gingerbread Snackhouse
- camera: The Watching Nutcracker
- trash can: Sock trash can

SINNER TYPES

Which type of micro-sinner are YOU?

Every customer has now one of 6 personnalities:
- INNOCENTS (black-eyed): a perfect customer, but one that deosn't belong in SOUL PARK!
- GROSS (green-eyed): will throw a tantrum everytime they have trash in their hands
- TROUBLEMAKER (red-eyed): they have a 10% chance of sabotaging the rides they go in
- CRINGE (yellow-eyed): will be avoided by other customers
- SELFISH (purple-eyed): jump queues
- OBLIVIOUS (blue-eyed): don't do anything special for now (might change it later)
GROSS AND TROUBLEMAKER customers caught on camera acting naughty will be marked and can be scolded using the whistle
- innocent customer cannot be scolded anymore
innocents will never throw their trash on the ground
sinners will throw trash on the ground is they don't find a trash can faft enough
each sinner type now has a different model
added a label in the info tab telling which kind of sinner each customer is
- hovering the label shows a tooltip briefly describing the customer's behavior
added new micro-sins to the list

In the next update, we plan to require you to free innocent customers from staying in the park to avoid getting a penalty!

GENERAL IMPROVEMENTS

remade the park entrance into a harbor
- customers now come to the park in boats (up to three customers per boat)
made it easier to read what effect each decoration applies
added settings to reverse camera tilt/pan
added an achievement notif count
added an animation for the arcades
added luminance to some objects
improved slider gauge for rides
you can now skip chester cutscenes
added customer sounds when popping their balloons
added a good/bad counter to the corruption minigame
updated some tutorials
tweaked legacy intro

BALANCING CHANGES

extended the length of a day to 300s
extended trees effects range from 6 to 8 tiles
reduced the length of the legacy game mode from 13 days to 7

BUGFIXES

fixed category titles in the achievements tab
fixed edge cases for sins being being mischosen
fixed button labels in the finances tab
fixed path placing UI not being visible in FPV
fixed pointer lock still being active when night starts

Feedback: Please reconsider some of the keymappings

I thought the game was bugged when I tried to move the camera with WASD, and only S and D worked. Having Z and Q as up and left is not that intuitive :)

La corruption revient ?

Hello ! Je ne sais pas si c'est normal mais j'ai la corruption qui revient tous le temps. Même pas le temps d'agrandir mon parc que la zone est déjà bloqué.

La feature est sympa pour éviter les expansions trop rapide du parc mais là c'est très contraignant. A moins que j'ai raté quelque chose ? Je pense que rajouter un menu d'aide avec des explications sur les divers mécanismes du jeu, consultable quand on le souhaite serai un bon ajout....

C’est un super jeux! Honnêtement c’est pas le type de jeux auquel je joue à mon habitude, mais j’adore le concept. L’univers est très sympas, pour la période de Noël on a le droit à des décorations et des attractions spéciale ! Les animations sont cool, le jeux continue d’évoluer et de nous offrir des mis à jour avec toujours plus d’évolution. J’aime bien aussi le caractère de ce gripsous de chester et les référence à le concurrence de heaven Park.
En bref un jeux très cool, que j’adore déjà !

J'ai testé le jeu pendant quelques heures et j'ai beaucoup aimé!
C'est un jeu chill comme on les aime où l'on passe du temps à améliorer notre park ou simplement à le regarder vivre de lui même...
Les mises à jour régulière amènent du nouveau contenu et font constamment évoluer ce jeu!
Vu le prix raisonnable en plus de ça je recommande à tout le monde de l'avoir dans sa bibliothèque et de le tester!
